The other day, I stayed there for the first time with a foreign friend. The purpose is delicious food and fishing.Although it was an old inn like the others, it was kept very clean and well-maintained. All the staff were very nice and made us feel comfortable.The seafood was very fresh and delicious. This may be a bit of a humble suggestion, but as mentioned in the comments of other people, if you can prepare such delicious meals, I think it would be a good idea to improve the way you cook the rice a little more. . It's a bit sticky and has balls, which ruins what was a wonderful side dish. Anyway, I had a very pleasant night, thank you very much.

This was my first visit to Tobishima (day trip), and I made a reservation for a set lunch in advance. When you go to the large hall on the second floor, you'll find reserved dishes lined up at each table, including set meals and rice bowl dishes.I took a seat at the reserved ``Shima Teishoku'' table. There is a rice cooker and an insulated miso soup pot next to your seat, so you can make your own. free refill.There are about seven dishes, mainly fish dishes, such as sashimi, grilled fish, and fried fish, so you'll be spoiled for choice.To be honest, the rice was not white and the taste was not good. I guess it can't be helped since it's a remote island.Thank you for the meal.

Many of our customers are bird lovers and fishing enthusiasts, and we enjoy sharing our meals together in a large room where we can exchange information.There are many dishes and it goes well with alcohol.

Stayed here on a pilgrimage to a sacred place for bird watching. Is this the inn in the model? There seemed to be a lot of people staying overnight to watch the birds. Breakfast and dinner are served in the large hall. They will also make bento boxes for you for a fee. They will also transport your luggage by car from the Tobishima ferry terminal. It can't be helped that the building itself is old, but I think it's comfortable enough to stay there. However, the WiFi signal is very weak in the annex and is difficult.

Spring 2023 Black-headed flycatcher, yellow-breasted flycatcher, etc.Autumn 2022 A black flycatcher appeared near the inn. White-tailed robins also stay for a long time.Spring 2022 This time I was able to see four crow pigeons at the same time from my room.Autumn 2021 Aroi, the local cuisine of the island! Mashi Soyo! Hao two! delicious! Yummy!Early in the morning, when I looked outside from my room on the third floor, I saw a gray drongo perched on a tree! ️

The cost performance is not bad, but since it is no longer Sawaguchi Ryokan, it would be better to change the name.It was a meal that didn't feel typical of Tobishima.I stayed here because I was nostalgic for the previous landlady's cooking using island ingredients, but I was disappointed in that, and I don't think it's Sawaguchi Ryokan since I can't use the host's bicycle.

I visited on a tour, but there was no hot water in the bath, no hot water in the shower, and I was confused after I got naked. In such cases, you should put a warning sign on the door. Also, I was waiting for the toilet paper in the annex building to be replenished during the consecutive nights, but it wasn't, and I looked around the area, but there was no spare paper, so I had to bring it myself from the main building. The young proprietress is probably trying her best, but she's not good enough. I couldn't even use a bath towel because of the smell of half-dried water, so I ended up using the camera lens cleaning towel I had brought with me. You can eliminate the smell of half-dried clothes by adding a little sesquicarbonate of soda when washing. It was disappointing in many ways.

Accommodation for solo traveler on October 18, 2021. I had a great time thanks to the kind customer service provided by the young proprietress. I don't do any bird watching or fishing in the off-season, so I just rode the free bicycle around the area.I used to be a chef, so I was interested in dinner, but at 8,800 yen per night and two meals including tax, I can't compare it to a mainland inn. That's rude.Overall the taste was good, but I was surprised that the fried shrimp was frozen food.I experienced life on an island where ferries are cancelled, and I realized how difficult it must be to purchase ingredients.Next time I'd like to go in the spring or summer.I'd be happy if I had an electric bicycle, since there's no charge.I'd also like to play at the fishing pier.I have high hopes for young people who will liven up the island.

I went for work, but my plan was to stay for 2 nights, but I stayed for 1 night. They handled the sudden cancellation without any discomfort.The people at the hostel were very nice.(≧▽≦)The room was clean and the food was delicious ♬I look forward to working with you again next year when I go there for work.

I stayed there in the summer of 2020.The food and room were adequate. However, perhaps because of the coronavirus pandemic, I didn't have much contact with the people at the inn, and since it was an inn on an island, I was expecting a homey feeling, so I felt a little lonely.I was a little nervous because I ate in a large room with other guests, but I was able to interact with other guests and it became part of my fond memories.Refills of delicious rice and miso soup are free.I forgot the name, but the Yamagata sake sold at our inn was delicious.There are free bicycles on the island, but there are also free bicycles exclusively for use at the inn.Also, it was a bit difficult to understand how to flush the toilet in an unusual toilet, so I thought it would be nice if there were instructions posted.

The guest rooms, bathrooms, and toilets are clean and easy to use. The freshly cooked rice, piping hot miso soup, and homemade dishes were delicious. I was soothed by the music playing in the large hall.

I stayed here on August 1st, 2020.The scenery on the island was very beautiful. The rain that had been falling has stopped, and it was the perfect summer day with blue skies and blue sea. All the staff at the inn were very young and very kind.The food was very delicious and I was able to fully enjoy the seafood. Also, it was fun to catch horse mackerel from the port in front of us early in the morning. I received some ice from the hotel staff.thank you for helping me.I would like to come again.

I became the first visitor from Saitama Prefecture after restrictions on movement between prefectures were lifted.We stayed for two nights in a large room on the second floor of the annex building facing the sea.The room facilities were very clean and comfortable.Free coffee and tea are available in the public space, so you can relax.The most memorable thing for me was hearing about the island's revitalization activities and the current state of the island from the young housewife. When I see young people working hard for the future of the island, I want to support them.We rented a free bicycle from the inn and went around the island twice, then walked half way around the coastline.In particular, the Araiso Tobishima daylily was amazing.This is a ryokan that I would like to stay at if I have a chance to visit again.
