In the middle of Herborn! I can recommend the restaurant. Food delicious. Maybe a little more expensive but still OK in terms of price, considering that there is a little greeting from the kitchen. Clean friendly. But there is one disadvantage to all of this. Lots of stairs on the outside and one or two steps on the inside. Very difficult or even impossible to manage for walkers and wheelchairs. But otherwise it's good. But also a bit more expensive.

Very high quality renovated hotel. Due to the old building, it is a bit angled with a narrow bathroom and partly low ceilings. But this gives it a special charm.The food is also very tasteful.The team is the sensation! In a good mood and always helpful. Beate in particular puts her heart into it and lives her job.Thank you - I'd love to come back

Found by chance 😃 Great service, great location and a lot of fun 👍 had after a heavy thunderstorm. I can only recommend it. Gladly again 😃The greeting from the kitchen was well received, both the boss and the service were competent and attentive. Unfortunately we are too far away but the fact that we found you is karma. Keep it up, we'll be back.

Great hotel located at the entrance to the old town, perfect for me personally. All in all, I can only praise the reception, service, staff and cleanliness and recommend it without reservation. Rooms very tastefully furnished, air conditioning, large flat screen, Nesspresso machine, box spring bed and modern, new bathroom. Extremely clean and great room service. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, rolls from the bakery and a variety of sausage and cheese variations, as well as muesli, fruit, etc. Attentive and extremely friendly service staff. Of course the restaurant was also used and gets an extra star! Great cuisine, crisp salad with great dressing. The roast beef was a delight, medium rare and impressive quality!! We then enjoyed the delicious cocktails, which were prepared on the terrace in front of the guests, with a shaker of course, as it should be.All in all, it was a weekend that left a very positive impression and will definitely be remembered. Will definitely come back!

Not recommendable. Rump steak fried to death, far from medium rare. Cream of asparagus soup had the consistency of dilated milk. Service asks, but then starts discussing. The chocolate cake that was supposed to make it good was almost an impertinence, definitely not homemade, and arrived at the table ice cold. Never again.

The hotel is really nice and very well maintained. The rooms are large and modernly equipped. In addition, everything was clean and the beds were really comfortable (box spring bed).The breakfast was also good and the service was very friendly. The coffee that was served tasted very good and it was delivered in a professional and friendly manner!All in all a nice hotel!

We were there on Sunday with a tour group. Although the meal was ordered for 1 p.m., the main course wasn't served until 2:30 p.m. Unfortunately, this meant that the city tour was completely canceled. The food was OK so far.If you accept tour groups, you also have to stick to the rules.It's a shame, but never again.

Went to the restaurant today for the first time since it reopened. The food was super tasty. The greeting from the kitchen was excellent. The service is also great. The boss is present and very attentive. I think the price-performance ratio is great. Thank you for the lovely evening. :)

The service was very friendly. The room a bit small. The location is brilliant - right in the middle of the old townThere is no parking space.Unfortunately the price for one night with breakfast (€155) is far too high.

We were able to feed our wedding party here after the registry office. From planning to implementation, it was a one-stop affair. The restaurant opened its doors just for us on a Wednesday. The food was excellent, service is very important here. Many thanks to Mr. Schmidt and the entire team! ♥️
