Our company has had a long-standing relationship with MK Hotels, booking group stays across multiple locations, including London, for several years. Unfortunately, our recent experience at MK Hotel London raised concerns about the brand’s management practices that may affect other locations, including Frankfurt. At the London property, a registration system error resulted in the loss of a group booking worth over £20,000. Mr. Jiri Rigan admitted the mistake but offered no compensation or resolution. When we escalated the matter to Mr. Arno Sonderfeld, we were initially dismissed, and only after legal intervention was an alternative arrangement secured. However, the accommodation provided did not meet the agreed standards. Attempts to book again were met with a 100% price increase and non-refundable cancellation terms, a significant shift from prior agreements. In an effort to resolve these concerns, we reached out to Mr. Sonderfeld again prior to posting our review, hoping to discuss the matter and avoid escalation. Unfortunately, we received no reply, and this lack of engagement has only deepened our concerns about the hotel group’s commitment to customer care and management transparency.Although these issues occurred at the London property, we believe they reflect broader challenges across the MK Hotels brand. Given the size and importance of MK Hotel Frankfurt, we encourage potential group bookers to confirm that booking policies, service practices, and management engagement align with their expectations. Our experience suggests that these issues may not be limited to a single location.

A bit hidden but very large and nice room. Easily reachable on foot with suitcases from the main train station.

My husband and I visited this hotel on a cycle trip across Europe. It was clean and it had everything you would need for a comfortable stay.It had a flat screen TV, a hairdryer, shower gel and soap. Nice white fluffy towels. It was right in the middle to town close to the train station, bars and restaurants etc. They kindly let us store our ebikes. It was self check in and we can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't have any.

I've stayed in many middle-of-the-road places, but this one is in a class of its own. I arrived at around 7pm, to discover that the reception was closed as there were "no staff available". I checked in with the automaton, and that worked fine, but there was a fire alarm that had gone off and was ringing for at least ten minutes, from the time I arrived. The management had left a phone number, which I called, but there was no response. Furthermore, my room was accessible by a second lift, but there were no instructions as to how to get to this lift. Eventually I figured out that I had to take the first lift to the second floor, walk down a long corridor, to find this elusive second lift. The room itself was fine, but the remote nature of the management made me worry about leaving, as it was not clear that I would be able to get back in smoothly. It is well located if you need to be next to the train station, which is why I chose it, but there are plenty of other hotels in the neighbourhood. Avoid.

Note: At the initiative of the mk Hotel in Frankfurt, my original review was deleted due to alleged defamation. Therefore, I am now revising this review again, although the negative experience on site remains. …

Top ! I can't confirm all the bad reviews, it's a short distance from the main train station, you can walk comfortably with your family and 3 suitcases and backpacks in about 5 minutes! The hotel can't do anything for the location on the side streets (focal point)! In the evening after dusk you shouldn't go into the side streets with children because of the things that are there, there are homeless people and drug addicts and everyone should be a little relaxed when they ask you for cigarettes, money and other things and everyone who is well shouldn't Be disgusted and be a little generous because anyone can easily end up on the other side! (long version because some guests were a bit shocked) Everything is safe and you can always see the police!Check in at the terminal! You can also call someone there on the phone! Note the elevator, there are two (different levels), a bit confusing but you'll get it by searching! All clean ! And very good for an overnight stay…If you're there in summer, you should remember that the temperatures outside are also inside... I don't like air conditioning, so that's no problem! Conclusion: I'll be happy to come back, you get exactly what you pay for...6 stars!

the hotel is in a good location, near the station. The rooms are decent. But my issue was when I lost my room key on the second night at about midnight. Weirdly for a hotel this size, the reception shuts at 11pm. …

Noisy when the windows face the street. The room is clean. The reception is closed at night. Electronic registration is difficult to understand.
