I was a guest at the mk Hotel Rüsselsheim twice within 8 weeks and unfortunately I had consistently bad experiences.On my first visit in the summer, the ventilation in my room was broken, so the temperature in it was 28 degrees. I immediately reported this to reception (in a friendly manner) and received feedback that they would take care of it. When I returned to the hotel 5 hours later, the situation was unchanged. I went to reception again and was told that it was the weekend and that the caretaker couldn't take care of it until Monday. I asked to change rooms. The woman reacted annoyed and told me that a change was not possible because the hotel was supposedly fully booked.I hardly slept a wink during the night. When the window was open, the noise of a nearby bar came into the room.The next morning I tried again with a different receptionist, who immediately offered me a room change. When I asked why my colleague hadn't given me this offer the evening before, she couldn't give me an answer. I was given a fully air-conditioned room for the following night.On my second stay I was given a room in which the ceiling panel went down to the ventilation. I reported this immediately and was given another room. This time the television was hanging crooked - but really crooked. I also reported this to reception and was told that as long as it was still working everything was fine. The building services will take care of it. The ventilation didn't work again - but I was used to that by now and ignored it (24 degrees in the room).On the second night, the fan in the bathroom started emitting warning signals (beeping). This was also reported. A shower shelf that was installed 180 degrees incorrectly was the lesser evil.In addition, the pillows are a complete disaster and no comparison to other hotels.I certainly wasn't petty and always remained friendly, but what I experienced there really annoyed me. What was also noticeable was that the staff always stated that they hadn't been working at the hotel for long and some of them didn't even know that the rooms were air-conditioned. "As far as I know, we don't have any air conditioning." Also noticeable: no smile at reception, no courteous behavior, sometimes misinformation (you have to ask about the parking situation).The only positive thing is the location.

Room is ok. Restaurant is ok (to expensive compared to the quality). Service horrible. I booked via Booking.com, paid the full amount in advance (via booking.com). The receptionist forced me to pay a second time at the hotel (communication between booking.com and hotel = not working). So incompetent. They repaid me, but still - the whole case of pay in advance is to not have exactly this case. I would never go there again.

Great rooms, beautiful Main panorama. I was particularly impressed by the wine on the Main in Rüsselsheim. Unfortunately met Mero in the foyer, that's why only 4 stars :/

Noisy surroundings.No air conditioning. The bigger problem is that if there is a problem with the room, you have to come and check, but the front desk knows everything, but they say they can't do anything because they are fully booked. Very insincere.

Everything is great!Super clean and modern room.The online check-in in advance or at the machine ran smoothly and was very time-saving.The breakfast was above average and very extensive.The proximity to the airport is also worth mentioning.I'd love to come back!!

We had booked 2 double rooms, when we arrived on Friday they wanted to give us 1 double room and a single room. After showing the booking email, we were told that, contrary to our wishes, the rooms were unfortunately not next to each other but on two floors. Then we needed 3 attempts to get into one of the rooms because the card was probably on strike... Then in the room we discovered that the television wasn't working (no TV program)... Pointed out in the information sheet and only the technician got the information wouldn't come until Monday...The air conditioning in both rooms doesn't deserve their name, it was over 26 degrees in both rooms despite being set to cold.The rooms themselves are very pleasant and clean, the breakfast was great and tasty...The whole hotel makes a well-kept impression and is in a great location. Some of the employees tried hard, some were very committed but always friendly.All in all a mixed stay. Unfortunately..

The room safe is installed so low down that you have to kneel down or lie down to use it. There is no telephone in the room to reach reception in an emergency. The tiles in the bathroom are very slippery and there is no non-slip mat. I slipped and gashed my back.The curb at the entrance to the hotel is not bevelled. There are not enough hotel parking spaces.And now the positive.The breakfast buffet is plentiful and very good.The staff is friendly and helpful.The rooms are clean.Air conditioning works.There is a kettle in the room with instant coffee and tea bags.TV is ok.

We had a two-day business event at mk Rüsselsheim. Absolutely great service, the rooms are wonderful and the food is really good. On top of that there is the attached brewery. Gladly again.

The room is dirty, hair on the bed and the shower is way too hot. Ventilation does not work 2 weeks ago, not even room number 220 with the windows closed 30 degrees with the windows open 27 degrees, a plane passes over this hotel approximately every 5 minutes you don't sleep a wink and if you complain to reception they don't do anything about it, the worst hotel in Germany!

Failed to mention at check in that their air conditioning isn’t working. Could not sleep on my layover as the air conditioning was actually heating the room. It’s over 26 degrees C - 80 F at 1AM in this room despite being 19 C - 66 F outside

Rooms are nice. Unfortunately, the ventilation system doesn't work, so we didn't sleep a wink in the room when it was over 27 degrees. After complaining at reception, we were offered a 10% discount. In my opinion, a hotel where you don't sleep doesn't deserve the name. It's a shame, because the location and the terrace are actually great. I definitely cannot recommend staying overnight in the summer months.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway.Visually it is really chic and you can see the river from the large terrace.You can also see a lot of airplanes, as the approach path to the large airport is nearby. But you can't hear these planes in the room.Unfortunately, we had a participant at the meeting who maintains air conditioning systems full-time and she said that the existing air conditioning systems all have mold and therefore the mold spores are distributed in the air during active operation. The systems looked normal to me, but I turned off the air conditioning in the room overnight :-)Otherwise the stay there was very pleasant.

I recently had a period of pleasant stays for business reasons at the MK Hotel Ruesselsheim and can highly recommend the place.Convenient location at the river Main with proximity to the city center and train station, also ideal for Frankfurt air travelers. Modern rooms with comfortable beds and open style bathroom. Super friendly, helpful staff at the reception as well as in the catering area. Home brewed delicious beer, with authentic food on the terrace and in the brewery. Parking spaces in the courtyard or public in walking distance at the Main (free of charge from 6 p.m.).Fair value for money. All you need. Thanks to the hotel-team. I will be back again!Chris
