You go back in time! Beautiful half-timbered house as a hotel. We stayed here one night. As a basic top. Although some things still need to be done. Bed was a normal coil bed with a mattress on top. The experience was fun. The owner knows how to fascinate you with his stories. The breakfast is basic but you won't miss anything. Nice owner. Excellent price-quality ratio.

This was one of the best places we stayed on our trip through western europe. Heidi is an amazing host and really makes you feel like family, the building is rustic and exactly how you would imagine a 300 year old german gasthaus in a small town would look. Also can include an authentic germans breakfast.This is a german guest house experience in a rustic building, if you’re looking for an impersonal hotel experience then you will likly miss the value of this establishment.

Unbelievable, I haven't rated this property well on another platform. The reasons were the poor sound insulation, no TV, bathroom across the hall and the poor breakfast. And I paid €84 for that.And what is this guy doing?Calls my company and makes a big fuss. He even threatened to rate my company negatively on other platforms.I have never experienced anything like this in over 30 years...and I don't need it again!

They made a reservation for two rooms. Booking confirmed that everything is fine. . They traveled from Frankfurt. We arrived around six in the evening and that was it. There is no light in the windows, all the doors are locked, and there is no telephone to contact the staff anywhere. Silence. We waited for half an hour and went to another hotel. Do not make a reservation in this place, do not waste your time.

Where do I start here? When I wanted to check in, the innkeeper on the stairs blurted out what I wanted. The room was so tiny that I could only open the door a crack before it hit the bed so I had to push the suitcase upright through the door. There was no desk in the room itself. When I asked the innkeeper, I was again told from above what I could think of and that even the managing director of SAP had already spent the night here.The advantage of such a rude host: the defective heating, the poor breakfast and the completely outdated bathroom didn't make the stay any worse.

The hotel is very unusual because this house is 300 years old! The walls and floors are crooked and the decor is rustic but the place is warm.The location is ideal but the rooms could do with a little updating. The breakfast is plentiful and the service pleasant.I think the price is a little too high for the whole thing.

Lovingly furnished hotel. The owners have given an old house a new lease of life. The rooms are all decorated differently and each has its own charm. Each room has its own bathroom, which is also great. There's really nostalgic charm here. The owners are very nice and the breakfast is rich. We felt very comfortable.

We were guests at the Hotel Roter Löwe for a short break and were thrilled with this very different hotel from the start. A rustic house with a lot of history and charm. Our hosts were very friendly and provided us with information about going out to eat and hiking in the region.The rooms were very clean, the breakfast left nothing to be desired.A lively little town, the house like a small island..We would like to come back because: "It's the encounters with people that make life so special !"Heike and Rolf Letzelter

Only a few rooms with bathroom in the room. Hotel is more of a museum. Right next door is a church and the street. OK at night if you use earplugs, loud during the day. Overall very simple standard. Room 1 has a bathroom, which is ok, but the room is too small.We were able to charge the eBikes in a storage room. The supermarket next door was also a highlight.

A very lovely place, which is easy to recommend for others to stay at. The hostess is very accommodating and has great advise for places to see and visit in the general area. However, I debated with myself about the rating for a while and settled on 4 stars due to the owners view on American politics and berating me for avbout 30 minutes on how our government damages Germany and the European Union. Du to this, I only wanted to give 2, even 1 star, but changed my mind because of the quaint atmosphere and the owners' wife, who, as I stated above, was very helpful. I do not need anyone belittling me and my country when I am on vacation and a paying customer.Well, if you can avoid the owners' political antics, you will have a great stay at this historic and gorgeous B&B. Again, just avoid the owner or try to keep ho m from talking American politics.

If there were 10 points, I would give them these. A very extraordinary hotel, each room decorated differently with antique objects. Modern bathrooms that look like they did back in the day. In the dining room the lamps are chandeliers, and anyone who books the holiday apartment has a grand piano at their disposal. Happy to anyone who can play the piano. Friendly hosts, great service.
