The house is older and so are the rooms. I don't think it's that bad, but it was cheap. The bathroom was from the 80s, I guess...Many of the details of the house are from the time, I like that and am happy that quality was built back then that still works today. I think it's normal that a shower cubicle like this has dirt corners that are difficult to clean, corners that are chipped or chrome that has chipped off here and there.Otherwise the house would have to be completely renovated and that would probably be the end of this accommodation. Here a family business is kept alive with very small resources. If you need fancy, you're better off going somewhere else.If you like really nice Dutch hosts and a delicious breakfast, you'll be fine here.In fact, one of the mattresses in the family room was borderline thin and was used a little too muchsaves...but mine was good...Our Pedelecs were safely parked in the garage and the covered smoking area was nice.

No, I definitely cannot recommend this hotel. The greeting was very unfriendly, almost dismissive. The rooms were from the 70s. Some of them have metal bunk beds that are intended for adults and are already at the static limit for medium-weight people. The bathrooms were also from the 70s and very small. The breakfast is sparse and if you're unlucky you'll be insulted because you're supposedly sitting in the wrong place. Honestly, nobody needs that.

We visited here as a group of motorcyclists. The rooms are very basic, the staff very friendly, the food very tasty and it is located in a beautiful area for a nice drive. We were even allowed to store the motorcycles in the garage and a delicious barbecue was provided. Definitely worth 5 stars for the price!

Small, family-run hotel with friendly service. We now come here every time we go riding at Green Hill or one of the other bike parks in the area.

We stayed there from August 31st, 2024 - September 1st, 2024. The original plan was for us to stay another night, but we went home after one night. We cannot explain how the rating of 7 comes about. The worst thing for us was the old, stale smell in the room, and the rotten smell from the ventilation in the bathroom without a window. The deep bed with the thinnest mattresses ever and the absolutely hard, irregular base was also terrible. Both of us a) couldn't sleep well, and b) we woke up with neck and back pain. The only thing that was maintained was the WiFi access. There was no TV in the room, just a TV room on the ground floor that you had to share with older people. It wasn't a lounge as described, but simply a room with old, uncomfortable furniture. The balcony was dirty and the seating was broken. We don't know how the pictures came about. Our room wasn't on any of them, and none of it was right for us. The puny shower in the bathroom was calcified and had large moldy stains in one corner. It was also cool that the owners simply disappeared to a wedding in the evening and left us alone. Although of course they knew beforehand that we had booked. The €230 for 3 nights is a disgrace. We felt like we were in a youth hostel, one that no one had cared about for a long time.

We are a Lebenshilfe group in the Gütersloh district and 9 people came. We felt comfortable from start to finish. The family is very warm and accommodating. You can easily plan excursions from the hotel. It is very centrally and quietly located. We would like to check in here again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Had a great 4 night half board stay. Friendly and hospitable hostess and host. Fantastic chef, delicious schnitzels and wide choice. The other three-course menus were also delicious. Breakfast is delicious and more than sufficient. Hygiene was in good order, clean room and bathroom. Service was 👌. A tip to do something about the sound of slamming doors. And the bed creaked, but that didn't bother me. In short, a great hotel for a stay to enjoy yourself in the area during the day. Located near Willingen with the longest suspension bridge in Europe (670m), and a walk to the Bruchhauser Steine is also definitely worthwhile. There are also plenty of beautiful walks near the hotel in the evening. And also beautiful bends for a motorcycle trip.
