Well, the day before, I stayed at Bale Delod G.H., which is great value for money, so I can compare. It's located at a three-way intersection, so it's a bit noisy during the day, chickens and dogs crow from 6 o'clock, and the room is on the 3rd floor, so it's hard to go back and forth. (Fortunately, when you sleep after 11 p.m. It was quiet) The room size is small and the lighting is dark, so it's not bad for sleeping alone, but it's not bad enough to stay again... However, the owner's family is very friendly and the room hygiene is very clean. The space for tea outside is nice. As the price is cheap, there are no amenities or hair dryers. Personally, I think the appropriate price is around 160k, but in reality, only 210k cash is available.

My room was supposedly good for one person only but it was huge and can easily fit 2 people. I loved that I had a little balcony outside my room which always had hot water, coffee and tea waiting each time I wake up in the morning. The airconditioning was perfect especially if you're coming home from a full day of exploring. The location was very central and I was always only 2min. walk away from my daily massage place and 7min. walk away from the supermarket. There's only one socket in the room so I bought an extension wire from Coco supermarket, very minor detail. Overall, I would highly recommend Banana homestay to anyone visiting Ubud.

Impeccable room, a host who listens to you, I recommend this quiet place, 10 minutes walk from the Monkey forest, 20 minutes walk from the center of Ubud.

My room was the one on the top floor. Every time I entered my room, I had to stop and sat at the table just to enjoy the view a little bit. Also, the host changed the welcome drink set(mug, hot water, coffee, tea) every morning.I was planning to stay 2 nights but ended up 4 nights. There's something... something that makes you wanna stay longer.. maybe that's what Ubud is about.

It's a homestay so of course don't expect the hotel quality. But Budi and his whole family is very welcoming, the rooms have good AC, location is amazing. Definitely best stay in Ubud

I stayed here 4 nights in total during my stay in Ubud. The hosts are an incredibly kind family that will always greet you with a warm smile whenever you arrive back home. We asked to be dropped to the north of the island, picked up from the airport, have motorbikes delivered to our house and nothing was ever a problem. The family business first started off as a fruit vendor (specifically bananas hence the name) and now they are running it as a home stay. The location is center and the rooms are extremely clean. Would definitely come back here in my next visit!
