Staff were all so friendly and would do anything to make your stay comfortable, check in and check out was very easy, a 5star hotel it isn't but my room was very clean and the bed I just melted into, I have absolutely no complaints, so it get 5 stars from me. I would absolutely stay there again, it was close enough to the center to walk but far enough out to get some peace and quite, many thanks to all the staff and those concerned

House keeping didnโ€™t come in the three days we were there. Our bin wasnโ€™t emptied which meant lots of ants. One bedroom has an indoor bathroom and the roof has black mould and the light didnโ€™t work. We asked for fresh towels as weโ€™d used them for the pool, and when they hadnโ€™t cleaned our room or given us fresh towels the next night - one of our friends who speaks Indonesian asked politely for fresh towels and they said as she left that we were โ€˜demanding touristsโ€™..Our villa was big, with three big bedrooms, with three bathrooms so points for space, but it needs some love. the boards around the pool are rickety and mouldy, and need to be replaced.Decor dated and dirty, the headboards on the beds are really dirty, the outdoor baths werenโ€™t clean and thus not inviting, and there was dust on the lamps etc.The tv and room safes didnโ€™t workโ€ฆOnly one room had a key to lock it, but when we returned one afternoon one of the rooms that didnโ€™t have a key, was locked.. which was odd.Location good, but wouldnโ€™t stay again honestly..We had requested breakfast at 9am, and they let themselves into our villa at 8am and started tinkering in the kitchen and then woke us up in our bedrooms. It was a bit bizarre.

Run down and tired villa. Rooms were very dirty, decor dated. Ants everywhere, no housekeeping or cleaning, safes didn't work, and the place smelt mouldy. Black mould on roof of bathroom and on fabric bedheads, light didn't work in one of the bathrooms. When one of our guests asked staff for fresh towels on the second day, they muttered that we were demanding tourists in Bahasa. Staff didn't show us around when we arrived and were generally not very friendly, and the TV was broken. Pool had tiles falling off. Overall very disappointed, the price was fair but this place needs a serious makeover.

for the price, it is ok. but it's a worn out building and not properly taken care of. the wood is aging badly, the tv ran out, pool is also in poor shape. if they have new fund, and redo, this will be a decent 3 1/2 stars hotel, but right now 1 1/2 stars are what it is.

Nice place to stay with family or friends. The 3 bed room villa has a spacious living room and dining room, with a view of the infinity pool on the river bank. The rooms are also spacious. 2 rooms are equipped with 2 bathtubs with semi outdoor design.Overall quite comfortable staying for 2 days with family with infant and toddler, can swim as much as you like. The villa design is also very good. However, there are several things that need repair/maintenance, such as the bidet shower facility in the front room which is clogged and needs to be replaced. One of the bathtubs also showed a crack making it impossible to use for fear of it breaking. Swimming pool ceramics have also started to erode in quite a lot of parts, as has the wooden deck in the pool area, worry about your feet stepping on nails, maybe nowadays the wooden deck can be replaced with a plastic wooden deck so that it doesn't rot easily. For breakfast, there is a choice of omelette, scrambled eggs or toast with jam/butter. It would be perfect if there was a fried rice option, because Indonesians feel like they haven't eaten if they haven't used rice. Ha ha haTo access the car to the villa, the driver needs extra skill because the access road is uphill and only 1 car can pass, where the end of the road is a dead end. If you pass another vehicle, the driver's skill is very decisive. So it is more advisable to use a motorbike or car rental service with a local driver.Btw, the location of the villa is very good, going down 300m from the villa on foot you will reach the heart of Ubud where there are lots of food/drink shops and various Balinese clothes and souvenirs. At the end of the road there is also the Ubud art market in front of which there is a temple, where we can see live art performances at certain times.

Extremely run down. Booked through Airbnb and host never responded to issues or request for partial refund. Private pool was so nasty we couldnโ€™t use it. People entered the room without notice. Pool randomly started making horrific noises in the middle of the night. Mold and extremely dirty. Find another place, this is trash.
