We spent one night in the hotel at the train station while we were in transit. It's perfectly fine for that, but I wouldn't recommend it for longer stays.The location is central and easy to reach. Weilburg city center can be reached on foot in 5-10 minutes.The reception and service in the restaurant were very friendly. Eating in the restaurant is also recommended. The price-performance ratio is completely appropriate.The breakfast buffet was also okay, not too much but not too little either.Unfortunately, the atmosphere in the hotel and the rooms did not convince me. Stained carpet, outdated decoration (taste is debatable) in the hallways. The rooms seem very dark and shabby. Unfortunately the door in the bathroom couldn't be locked. Thanks to the springs, the mattresses also didn't allow for a restful sleep. The cleanliness was fine except for hairs on the bed linen.

We ate in the restaurant last night with the voucher book and were extremely satisfied!Our dishes (pork loin with mushroom cream sauce, cordon bleu with cream sauce, chicken breast fillet with Gorgonzola sauce and linguini shrimp) were all very tasty and the portions were all large (despite the voucher book)!The service staff is very nice and accommodating.The drinks prices (e.g. wheat 3.60 EUR) are great.We'll definitely be back!!! :-)

Was there on the weekend of August 7/8, 24. Unfortunately, I can't rate the hotel that was advertised as having a view because I got a room in the attic that had 2 skylights that couldn't be reached or opened by hand, the remote control in question didn't have batteries and the telephone to reach the reception didn't work . The air was very stuffy and also warm. When I personally asked for repairs or batteries, I was promised that someone would take care of it straight away. Unfortunately no one came!!!!! The night light didn't work, there was still a clump of the previous tenant's hair in the bathroom and the foot towel had a clear hole in it. The heating gurgled and was also turned on at 4 in very warm temperatures. Unfortunately the slatted frame was just a board. Mattress and bedding were OK, breakfast was quite good.

Went by bike and stayed overnight and had dinner here. The reception was friendly and helpful, the bikes were put in a bike room. The room was good and clean. What wasn't so good for me is the carpet in the house and room. The hotel and rooms are a bit older but functional. Toilets can only be found in the room. Dinner in the attached restaurant was very good, breakfast was standard. Since there are no trains running at the moment, it was very quiet on the terrace and in the room. Price performance was very good for me.

The positive reviews are incomprehensible. The room was very worn, the chairs were worn out, the inside of the duvet was dirty. There is currently only calm because the railway line is being renovated and has therefore been converted to SEV.The only positive thing to note is the friendly service.

Rating only applies to the restaurant:We came across the restaurant through the voucher booklet (Schlemmerblock) and were thrilled. Very nice service, great menu. We have eaten there several times now and it has always tasted very good. We would love to come back...

We were on the Lahn cycle path and spent the night here. The hotel is ideally located for this and there is also a bicycle room. Otherwise average.

The Hotel am Bahnhof in Weilburg not only scores points with its convenient location right next to the train station, but also with the fact that the charming old town is within walking distance. This was particularly convenient for us as it meant we could easily explore the city's sights without having to rely on a car. Despite its age, the hotel retains its charm and practicality. Our spacious apartment under the roof offered us plenty of space, which made our stay with the two girls very pleasant. We were also pleasantly surprised at the price - the price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more pleasant. Breakfast was fine - nothing outstanding, but it left us well satisfied and set up for the day. Overall, the Hotel am Bahnhof is a recommended choice, especially for travelers looking for a central location, plenty of space and fair value for money seek. The walking accessibility of the city is another big plus.

Had one of the attic rooms and only a tiny little roof hatch because the other one was broken. At these temperatures, and it was only 25 degrees during the day, it was an impossibility. In addition, the window closed immediately thanks to the rain sensor as soon as a few drops fell on the roof. Pure sauna and sleeping is not possible. Some of the lamps don't work, neither does the telephone and the handle on the room door has fallen off.The breakfast was okay and the service there was very nice.

The rooms are very nice, only the ventilation on the roof is very loud and it is impossible to open the windows while the ventilation is running. The breakfast was good, but the refills didn't really work.

There were three of us and we had an apartment. Rooms were clean, mattresses were fine, breakfast was delicious - what you would want for breakfast. Staff very nice and helpful. Right at the train station, but I haven't heard any traffic and there are no trains at night.Gladly again!

Quite fine for one night. However, the rooms are very dark and some lamps didn't even work. The lock on the bathroom door was also broken. So you couldn't lock the door. Otherwise the hotel was largely clean. Handrail of stairs was sticky. The breakfast was really lavish! For a short stay where you only need one place to sleep, you can book here.
