A wonderful moment to share with friends at Runik. The staff takes great care and is very kind. Very nice rooms, comfortable bedding, very beautiful setting, quiet, in short a little gem in the center of UBUD.

Hello dear Runik team, my partner and I stayed with you for 5 nights at the beginning of September. A great room, the location is great, a laundry is at the beginning of the street, good and a great price for the quality of cleaning of the laundry. You can also quickly get to the center of Ubud (max. 5 minutes on foot) and the local restaurants there are also recommended. The team is very attentive, friendly and always says hello or how are you (you). There is a small point deduction for the towels, after using them once they smell very strong (a bit biting, similar to cat pee) as if they were not that clean or well dried? Otherwise the room was cleaned every day. If you didn't want it or didn't think it was necessary, you let us know and it was ok.There was also a small problem with the air conditioning, we let us know briefly and within 2 minutes 2 guys from the team were there and were able to fix it quickly! Top!!We would choose the hotel again, so we recommend it...! Hopefully we'll come back next year ;)When we said goodbye, I (Ana) was even hugged; we felt really comfortable there. The hotel is located in a really quiet spot, yet just 5-10 minutes walk to the main road, where you can find all restaurants, Ubud Market and not far is the Monkey Forest too. It’s a bit hard to find the hotel at first, as car doesn’t get there, so you’ll need to walk from the main road. When we were leaving the staff helped us with our suitcases, which was really nice.The hotel has a really nice pool and a beautiful view as well. The room is nice but the bed was the worst I’ve ever slept, so uncomfortable that I was waking up throughout the whole night with back pain. So it would be nice to upgrade the mattress for the guests comfort. I ended up sleeping on the couch.The staff are really friendly and always smiling, but it’s really annoying when every time they see us, they would offer some kind of tour.

We were at this hotel from September 10 to 16. Very central and very nice hotel. Quiet to sleep, the garden and the pool are very beautiful.The breakfast is spectacular and the staff is very friendly and helpful.Very good value for money

We stayed there for 4 nights and in the completely chaos of Ubud this is a completely jewel of peace and calm in the heart of the city. All the staff is soooo nice and completely at your disposal. We found a brown spot in the sheets and they have change it immediately.
10/10 no doubt.

A magnificent and very well maintained setting, a superb room, all in a relaxing calm despite its proximity to the center of Ubud. Breakfast made on site, the “pancakes with banana” are the best we have tried in Bali. The staff is helpful and very cheerful, like many Balinese people!Nb: to do, the warung Gauri located 100m away is really excellent...

Nice location, very good location. No problems with noise or other things. It is not that easy to reach. You'll have to search a bit to find it.Power also went out 1-2 times every day, but it lasted a few minutes and was fine again.Water was also provided in the room and fresh fruit.Price-quality this is certainly a good hotel. Pleasant staff and very helpful!

Scenic beauty, so quiet compared to the Main Street yet only short walk away. Very friendly staff. I would love to give this place 5 but a couple of things that need addressing. The towels are not laundered hot enough and most we were given smelt like a gym kit. The water they kindly give you gave us 5 small cuts on our hands as they are too tight to open and lastly, whilst this is not their fault I’m sure, the electricity did go off 4 times in 3 days which meant briefly, no AC or lights. They were running round like crazy to try and fix it though. Hopefully they can sort a long term fix soon. I would go back

It is conveniently located in the center of Ubud, has a swimming pool and garden facilities, and is also convenient to nearby restaurants. The accommodation bed and spacious space were nice, but the bathroom shower area was made of stone, so it didn't dry quickly, so it smelled a bit like mold. If you close the bathroom door, the smell won't enter the bedroom, so it doesn't really matter. The water pressure was good and it was great to take a shower.

A hidden gem in the center of Ubud! It is quietly located, you don't hear any traffic and it is very green with a view of nature. The staff is super friendly and eager to help you with everything. The swimming pool is also beautiful, plenty of sunbeds and the water is wonderfully fresh!!Rooms with all amenities, but you are missing a window in your bathroom and the beds are too hard. Many large ants everywhere, but luckily no mosquitoes in the room.

3.5 starsWe booked last minute and stayed here for 2 nights.PRO- Pool is lovely, just like the photos- Good ratio of pool loungers to guests- Very quiet- Staff are friendly- They were very flexible when we needed to cancel a day trip around Ubud last minute due to illness.- There are good restaurants in walking distanceCON- Rooms are looking tired and in need of a touch up.- The sheets were stained (all sheets, pillows, doona cover etc), but clean.- They sprayed the room with bug spray as we arrived, and it made the room smell very chemically.- Breakfast was the most basic we have had in Bali (and this was one of the more expensive places we stayed!).- There were gaps in the doors, and an open vent in the bathroom, which brought mosquitos in.For individuals with mobility issues, you need to walk about 150 meters from the road (not accessible to cars) and the pavement is cracked, so in some areas you need to carry your suitcase.Overall, I love that it is locally owned, but I do not think it is worth the price we paid.
