NOTTHATEASY-HotelNegative aspects:-You need to check in at a hotel 5/10 minutes from there-Lack of staff in the facility-the room without a window has an opening in the wall to let air in from outside which comes directly onto the bed, so it comes straight into the face of the sleeper, and when it's cold, it's not exactly pleasantPositive aspects:*Convenience*Room with everything you need, bathroom, shower, tablecloths)*BaselCard included

Perfect option to spend one or two nights if you are looking for something economical.THIS IS MY OPINION REGARDING THE ROOM I RENTED, WHICH IS THE MOST BASIC.Pro: towels, sheets, very comfortable bed, has a hair dryer, shampoo, soap, television, tablet with games, mirror, coat rack, nightstand and most importantly: the wifi was excellent! It is also worth mentioning that the shower is beautiful and the hot water worked perfectly.Cons: my room had no windows, no refrigerator, no fan or air conditioning (therefore I do not recommend it in summer). But none of this was anything negative or important to us since we only stayed one night! In my opinion I loved this hotel to spend one night which is what we had planned. We came by car and you can leave it on the street (which is important to know about the times allowed) and there are also many parking options for approximately 30 pounds a day.On the other hand, we had a wide variety of options to go out to eat around the hotel and a supermarket 7 minutes away on foot. In any case, if you come to Basel or anywhere in Switzerland for more than two nights, I recommend staying in an apartment or room that has a kitchen! Since going out to eat is very expensive and it is always advisable to buy at the supermarket and cook.Greetings!

I really don't get the all the bad reviews here. You go for the cheapest Hotel in town an then complain about what you got? For the price you pay this actually outstanding for a Swiss city.If you just need a place to sleep this is perfect, if you need something to stay in for a long time with your family, then this is might be a bit to small.- Yes, check-in was automated but faster than most humans.- Yes, the rooms are small but I was never promised a big room.- Bathroom is tiny, but has everything I'd expect, namely a shower, a toilet and a sink.- Wifi was fast and reliable.- Next store to grab some food close by.- Public transport right in front of the Hotel.- I was promised one window and got two.

Excellent location, clean rooms (I had a twin room which was tiny yet spacious enough and even had a small desk), and excellent pricing a quarter of other nearby hotels - BUT no lift, no staff on site, and stiflingly hot in the room with no ventilation (in early August) and lots of heavy traffic at night on the main road in front of the hotel making it difficult to keep windows open due to the noice from heavy trucks.

The location was great, but there was no service, which resulted in the problem of getting to the hotel, the access code was not sent to the e-mail, and without it you couldn't open the hotel door to check in and get the room keys. If it weren't for the tenants who live there, it would be impossible to enter..

Worst hotel experience in 25 years...No window & no air conditioning! Not even a ventilation system. We barely slept; it was already almost 30 degrees in the room when we got there. During the night it felt like it rose to 35 degrees, even though it was actually a rainy, cool (August) night. This offer is absolutely substandard and is not worth 20 CHF, let alone the 113 CHF we paid for the "budget" hotel. They also have rooms with windows... But if they only have rooms without windows, then stay away, you're better off sleeping on a street bench...

Worst hotel I've been in!Hi everyone! I stayed at the EasyHotel Basel for a week. The hotel is fine for one night, but I warn you, never stay longer than one night!Service does not exist. The room will only be cleaned for an additional charge of 25 Fr. It's dirty under the beds, the main street is loud and keeps you awake, they don't even refill shampoo in the bathroom (I had to buy my own because the online receptionists are incompetent idiots).I understand that you can't expect much from a 1-star hotel, but I get a lot more for the price in other places. There is almost no service. The main thing is to cash in and drive people crazy.

Room:Rooms are clearly made of quality. There are several things that could have been built cheaper. Bathroom was pleasant to use. Only the room had not been cleaned before we arrived. Hair and stains in the bathroom. Cups with mouth jerk off on them. Hair on a messy bed and trash everywhere. With a clean room it would have been a 5 star review.SoundWith the window open, the street is clearly audible. Almost not with the window closed.HeatUpon arrival it was 28 degrees outside and the room was not stuffy. There is no air conditioning but it was fine. Slept well.Safety:The neighborhood is busy, but safe. We saw many local young people walking in the dark without any worries.
