Beautiful, clean, recently renovated modern rooms with wonderful beds. Very friendly owner who helps you with everything.There was even a charging station for the electric car.Breakfast was good and lots of choice. There are a few vegan options for us, but that is often still the case. Soy milk if you asked.The value for money was simply excellent.Close to the Schluchsee in the middle of the Black Forest along a main road so you can quickly get on your way for your excursion.

We were in the holiday home. It was a perfect vacation. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed. You can't beat the friendliness and willingness to help.The house is fully equipped and nothing was missing, but if this had been the case we would have been allowed to contact us at any time. We were also able to enjoy breakfast at the hotel, which was prepared with a lot of love. Above all, we will always have positive memories of the homemade bread.An absolute recommendation and we are already looking forward to our next stay.

From the very first moment I was impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. The very well-kept and clean room (with balcony!) made a great impression; it was very quiet and relaxing. Plus the fresh air in the countryside...everything was perfect. Price-performance was TOP! Thank you!

Super clean, very friendly.. I was out on the motorbike very late and it wasn't a problem.. and the next day we had a very cozy breakfast.. I wasn't expecting so much for the price.. but wow.. on the next tour I plan again! 😎👍🏻

A very excellent country inn in all respects. My wife and I stayed one night at the weekend. Extremely friendly host. And there is a lot of potential in the Dorfkrug.

Hotel not honest and to be avoidedCold and unprofessional welcome, restaurant with traditional cuisine that lacks flavor, very mediocre half-board menu and no dessert.My reservation was the blockhouse and on the site I was to have a modern living room, what was my surprise when I arrived when the interior was rather old and dilapidated, which did not correspond to what I was supposed to have.. ..The boss didn't want to know anythingAlso do not look for the sauna despite the photos on the site and the leaflet, the hotel does not have a sauna...This hotel uses false advertising which should be prohibited which is why I am describing my experience and attaching the photos to inform other travelers

I and my dog were guests at the Dorfkrug in Häuser in Oct. 23 (plus 1 friend and 2 dogs) and again in Nov. 23 (plus 3 friends and 3 dogs).The host was very nice, understanding and helpful. At our request, he reserved a table in the breakfast room that was a little off to the side. What was more pleasant for us was with our dogs. He also helped us with hiking routes and restaurant selection. Thank you very much, once again, Mr. Schröter.2 rooms were newly renovated and very comfortable. The other 2 rooms, which are (still) in their old condition and have the bathroom/toilet in the hallway, were good value for money and therefore completely fine.We all really enjoyed staying at the Dorfkrug, can definitely recommend it and would come again.Kind regards from Switzerland T.Z.

Utterly dissapointed with the service from the start. Cold and unpleasantly outstandish welcome, followed by bleak and not cosy interior of the room. Breakfast was not even close what one would expect for that price of bed and breakfast. Overall, not a pleasant stay over, next time I will definitely look for another place...

We stayed at the Dorfkrug for one night and would stay again at any time. Clean, tidy rooms and a well-stocked breakfast buffet.Motorcycles can be parked in the courtyard. Very accommodating owners. I had a problem with my motorcycle and was immediately offered the opportunity to contact me if we needed help.

We only spent 1 night here, but we were totally thrilled. Our suite was an absolute dream. Service and hospitality are top. Highly recommended. Also for bikers. I'm looking forward to hopefully being able to come back by motorbike next time.
