Food always tastes very good and the staff is friendly. Very modern and comfortably furnished.Beer garden with a playground right next to it. Unfortunately, potato salad was missing from 2 of 4 side salads last time. Unfortunately, when the beer garden is at full capacity, you are no longer served to order something and the dishes are left on the table until you leave. Therefore 2 points deducted.

It's the guest's own fault!Before you book an overnight stay here, you should take a look at the various bad reviews.It is noticeable that many guests were so dissatisfied that they not only gave a few stars, but also reported in great detail about their bad experiences. It's striking that the same points are brought up again and again - there must be something to it.Unfortunately, I missed this research and stayed overnight with my wife from Saturday to Sunday, in a room facing the street, not as a wedding guest, which I would like to briefly report on:When we came to our room around 2 p.m. to leave our luggage there, the temperature was around 30C because there was no sun protection or air conditioning. We couldn't ventilate because we immediately left the room.When we returned around 12:30 a.m. the room temperature was even higher.Ventilating, even with the windows wide open, had no significant effect because the room had heated up like an oven.The attempt to shower failed because an unappetizing brown broth came out of both the tap and the shower. So we had to limit ourselves to a “cat wash” and brush our teeth with the lukewarm water from the room.At 1:00 a.m. the party noise from a wedding on the ground floor had still not ended. So we had no choice but to try to get a little sleep with the windows wide open with DJs and street noise, which was more difficult than ever.The next morning we found the shards of a broken water bottle in front of our room door.Apart from the unusable water supply, the bathroom was not cleaned well, the walls of the shower cubicle were off the rails, the water drained poorly and there were still toothpaste residues from the last guest in the water glass.The dead fly in the sugar shaker at breakfast was the icing on the cake.We drove home without a shower.In summary, the stay was the most unpleasant hotel stay I can remember.Our complaint to the hotel manager was only answered after the second request. The correspondence resulted in a ridiculous partial reimbursement of the accommodation costs amounting to €30. There was no apology for the spoiled stay. Instead, there were inappropriate explanations: “A lot of things shouldn't be the case these days, but you have to accept it,” “we don't have anything to blame here,” “it shouldn't be, but unfortunately this was the case.” That's not nice. Apparently it didn't bother the other hotel guests." And as a comment about the fly in the sugar shaker, "It can happen. What a sweet death!”.You are not taken seriously here. In his opinion, the managing director did everything right. It is therefore the guest's own fault if he decides to spend the night at the Forsthof, which I can therefore only advise against.Unfortunately you cannot give less than one star. It would be appropriate here!

We celebrated our youngest son's wedding with his girlfriend at the Forsthof. Our impression of the Forsthof was positive from the start. The many parking spaces, the friendly welcome at the reception and the beautiful rooms. We had a large hall with enough space for our guests. As well as an extra dance floor for extensive dancing fun. The dinner was excellent, with a starter, main course and final dessert. Everyone enjoyed it. The service in the evening was courteous and friendly.We had a great time and had a lovely wedding celebration in the house.

Once and not again. The hotel on the edge of the world, restaurant closed on Tuesday, TV in the room not connected to electricity, no TV reception, mattress hard, breakfast very spartan.

The Hotel Forsthof is located in the middle of nowhere and is best reached by car. There are parking spaces directly behind the hotel. Our reception was staffed from 4 p.m., beforehand you can get into your room with a room code. The rooms are clean. The hotel offers many options when it comes to celebrations and has space for both indoors and outdoors. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired.Renovations are currently taking place, which has to be done at some point.

We celebrated our wedding there and spent the night. It was incredibly beautiful...the location, the rooms. The atmosphere. And the staff was also in a great mood and very friendly. I can only recommend it

I was given a room on the third floor with the aluminum exhaust chimney outside my window that makes exhaust noises all night long. On the 3 nights of the staywere extreme summer temperatures! When it arrived, it wasThe room was not ventilated and at night it was impossible to sleep with the window open (to let in the cool).exhaust noise. During my stay I understood that this is a wedding hotel, hence the poor room (for me as a NOT wedding guest) a little additional flexibilityInviting breakfast guests for the full weekend. Sure, of course,the wedding party went first. Understandably, it was also on the daythe wedding celebrated until the middle of the night. No sleep againto think!If you had told me from the beginning (I had asked 2 months in advance) that there was a wedding taking place this weekend,I could have decided differently. Are you kidding me? Are you serious when you say thatCOMFORT room:Pillow 80x80cm filled with plastic material (AMAZON basic) - very uncomfortable. Mattress/wooden grating - simplest version. Synth. Carpeted floor! Update:For the second time they tried to delete/hide my review even though it had 2 stars instead of just 1. I'm changing this now.I assume that this also affects other reviews and that they were deleted or hidden because people didn't react in time.I think it's absurd to deal with criticism like that.My old review:Food is good. Rooms are fine. A great place to celebrate, to relax on the weekend, rather bad because others are celebrating. The celebration lasts until three in the morning and breakfast is served at seven to ten. A bad combination in my opinion.

Attentive, friendly, flexible employees both in the hotel and in the catering industry. Breakfast (until 9:00) this time was largely eaten away by 8:20 and was no longer very attractive. Therefore four stars. Nice, spacious, clean room. Bathroom clean, just a bit old. Great location: edge of the forest, vineyard. Parking spaces available free of charge. All in all, highly recommended - including the neighboring winery. I'll be back.

My conclusion from this stay for 4 nights: definitely book through a booking portal and not directly with the hotel. Because the hotel itself gives you a room (requested in July) even though you know full well that you are fully booked for a wedding for the weekend in question (in September!). So I got a room on the 3rd floor with an exhaust pipe in front of the window that makes noise all night long. Given the high outside temperatures, that meant trying to sleep with the window open in unventilated rooms. Thick AMAZON pillow 80x80cmthin mattress. It's also impossible to sleep on Saturday, as the noise from a wedding party naturally lasts half the night. All of this would have been possible to communicate to the guest without any problems. Very disappointed 😞
