The Hilton is well located. Parking is fine. The room I got upgraded was fine. Don’t have, if you are a Diamond Member or allowed to access the Executive Lounge, high expectations. Was really disappointed about. Food, drinks, … not of expectation. Sorry.

We stayed at the Hilton Dresden for 5 nights and it was an absolute disaster. If this is the Hilton standard, we will steer clear of hotels from this chain in the future.First the positive:- The location is great, you can reach most of the sights and very good restaurants within a few minutes on foot.- The fitness area, pool and jacuzzi are fine.Listing everything that was bad would be beyond the scope, but the highlights are:- Very old, run-down room with very uncomfortable bed. After the first night we already had terrible back pain.- Filthy bathroom, including a toilet as dirty as I have ever seen. She also smelled incredibly like urine. The sink is also cracked and the drain edge is yellow with dirt. The shower partition is mounted too high on the bathtub (there is no shower) so the seal doesn't work and the bathroom floods when showering. The hair dryer looks like it's from the 60s and the electrical test has expired since 2023.- The glasses and cups provided were all dirty, so we had to wash them ourselves before using them for the first time. The next day we noticed that the cleaning staff simply put the used dishes back on the tray with a lid on top, as if they were fresh. In the 4 days, our glasses were actually replaced once and the cups twice (but these weren't really clean either).- The minibar is empty unless you explicitly book it. So, for example, spontaneously drinking something from the minibar in the evening, as is possible in every other hotel, doesn't work.- The lady at check-in was absolutely overwhelmed (trainee, but she was left alone), so our arrival was very unpleasant. Service absolutely non-existent. We were neither told where to find anything in the hotel nor offered to take our luggage, which I would expect at a Hilton.- The license plate recognition in the parking garage didn't work, so we stood in front of a locked gate. It wasn't explained to us beforehand exactly where we should park, so we were totally confused and were just lucky that there was another guest there so late in the evening (around 10 p.m.) who was able to open the gate for us.I can therefore strongly advise everyone against this hotel.

We’ve stayed here twice, once in November 2019 and again in July 2024. This full service Hilton is located right in the heart of Dresden’s beautiful historical old town and offers plenty of amenities to make your stay very comfortable. This recent trip, we stayed just a night on our way to Prague mainly because we knew how relaxing the hotel was. Service at arrival is professional, rooms are nice though some people may find the bathrooms a bit out of date (doesn’t bother me). We then hung out at the spa after our long journey, had some cocktails at the executive lounge, and had a great dinner at their ‘German’ restaurant on the ground level (I use quotations as it is very touristy, but the food is VERY good and it’s convenient and what we needed). We had a nice lovely walk at sunset on the Elbe, and then passed out in our very comfortable bed. Best way to end a transatlantic voyage followed by a train trip!Breakfast in their restaurant is one of the best in Europe and offers something literally for everybody.Another crazy thing about all of this, it’s very affordable to stay here! Much cheaper than Berlin or Prague and the quality is so much better than you’ll get there for the same price. We will definitely do this again should our travel plans intersect with Dresden in the future!

The Hilton Dresden is absolutely perfect. Directly at the Frauenkirche. The service is usually very good and attentive. Room service with restrictions. The room was great, direct view of the Frauenkirche and very spacious. However, the furnishings can do with an overhaul and the carpet also needs to be cleaned.Gladly again.

A spontaneous vacation with friends:We chose the Hilton Hotel because of its good location and value for money and we weren't disappointed. From the in-house underground car park straight to the lobby to check in: although there were a few guests in front of us, things went really quickly. The nice and extremely friendly concierge created a nice and well-rounded excursion plan for us for the next few days and also booked it on site. The rooms have enough storage space and cupboards. There was also an ironing board and steam iron (to our delight with a very long supply cable) as well as a very high quality hairdryer. In addition, the larger refrigerator and the very spacious safe met our expectations exactly. Kettles for some types of tea and coffee were also available. We had restful and relaxing nights thanks to the good mattresses and bed linen. The room could be completely darkened using the good blackout curtains. The entire room - which faced the inner courtyard - was extremely quiet despite the tilted windows. We liked the bathroom overall, but nonetheless we would have preferred a shower instead of a bathtub. We found the breakfast very extensive and tasty. We were able to order freshly prepared omelettes which were brought to our table by very friendly service staff. There was something for every taste, we especially liked the freshly cooked soup, which you could put together yourself from many different ingredients and ingredients. There really was something for every taste. Various types of bread and rolls including small pastries left nothing to be desired. The very nice staff from the kitchen always tried to refill the buffet. Although the hotel was very well booked, we always found a place for breakfast very quickly. Given the large number of guests on the weekend, we should also highlight the opening of the Rossini Restaurant on the first floor, which was also open at breakfast time with an extra breakfast buffet. Here you can find the same delicious products as downstairs in the breakfast room. We would like to emphasize once again the extremely friendly service staff who always tried to meet our needs. After our excursions, we enjoyed ending the evening in the in-house bar with delicious cocktails and drinks. Conclusion: it was a really nice short vacation for us with lots of nice encounters. Thanks again for everything, we'll definitely be back!
