I don't think there is a place like this among places that cost less than 30,000 won per night. I made a reservation with only two things in mind, location and cleanliness, within my budget, and I was satisfied with my 3 night stay. The only amenities are a small soap. There is no hair dryer or mini refrigerator. There were two towels, but when I asked for them the next day, they gave me more. The same goes for toilet rolls, but I think they will give you whatever you ask for. There is no musty smell and the bedding is really clean without any damp feeling!! I was skeptical after seeing the reviews, but there really wasn't a single ant. Actually, there's a gap even when the room door is closed. So, I brought some mosquito repellent and sprayed some repellent... Maybe that's why no bugs came in or mosquitoes bit me in the room. Oh, a small lizard came in, but since it's Ubud~ I thought it was cute haha. The towel has no smell, but the white towel is slightly stained? The color was a little dirty, but that's true of towels at home as well. It wasn't unpleasant so I just used it.It was nice that the Royal Palace, Monkey Forest, and Coco Mart were all within walking distance, and there were many good restaurants in the alley right next to it. There were so many restaurants I wanted to go that I stayed for 3 nights and never had breakfast.I stayed upstairs, and they carried my suitcase up the stairs when I checked in and were very kind.Oh, one thing to note is that the soundproofing isn't very good, and I raise birds in this house, and they have good voices and sing really well. I don't usually sleep well in the morning, and I'm a sensitive sleeper... At around 6:30, I was forced to wake up to the sound of birdsong. After the first day, I went to bed early before 11am. Waking up to the sound of birds was something I had never experienced before, so it was quite healing and felt good. I also liked the accommodation with a Balinese feel. It was a unique experience!

Family hotel very well located in downtown Ubud.Beautiful setting, large, clean rooms. Cleaning carried out every day in the room. Sheets changed every 2 days (we stayed there 8 nights). The included breakfasts were good (eggs in all its forms, pancake, toast, fried noodles, fresh fruit or fruit juice).A small, convenient adjoining convenience store is managed by the grandmother. The family is very welcoming and above all very flexible.

It's like staying in a homestay in a private house in Ubud. Located in the heart of the city, you can walk to the Royal Palace and many yoga classes. It was safe at night and I walked home after the dance performance. I also took a walk around town in the morning. The building has a Parisian feel and the view from the balcony is great. You can see how they are deeply religious, making offerings to various places and praying early in the morning. The landlord's family and the people working there were all nice people.I was able to experience the life of Ubud and stay there cheaply and safely.

Place on one of the main streets. If you don’t ride a bike (since a taxi costs a loin) and want to be closer to streets with restaurants, coffee shops (15 walk from the forest with monkeys) and streets with clubs, then this is the place for you. Very clean. If possible, take the 3rd floor, the view will be better.

I arrived a little while after midnight and despite my worry about not being able to check in, it was a very smooth arrival and i was welcomed to my room by the hosts that late and taken care of which was an ideal start to my trip.Located in midst of it all, walking distance to a lot of shops and cafes, barely need to ride anywhere.Very clean room and although on a very busy road my room was very quiet and could not hear any traffic at all.My hosts were amazing, always smiling and happy to help.As it can be seen in photos the setting snd building itself is absolutely stunning with birds and cats living in harmony.I cant recommend this place enough, loved my time here and slept very well every night.Would love to come back one day.

I arrived in Ubud early in the morning due to a late arrival and stayed for a cheap night. The air conditioner was cool, the bed was nice and clean (there weren't any bugs), and most of all, the breakfast was… . It's crazy. It was almost 11 o'clock so I asked if breakfast was available and they happily did!! They were so friendly. I stayed on the 3rd floor and the view from the accommodation was also crazy. As some other people have written in reviews, they seem to be a bit chaotic with bookings sometime. I arrived in the late afternoon to check in and was told that they do not have a room do to overbooking or construction, which seemed a bit weird. I was offered a cheaper alternative nearby which I declined due to road noise.

Well located Guesthouse in the center of Ubud. The rooms are ok, but you have to brave some steep stairs. If you need someone, you have to search a bit before you find someone who understands and speaks English. Besides that, it is definitely recommended.
