Outrageously expensive, super loud street noise, poor soundproofing, hardly any water pressure, cumbersome shower, not even a kettle at a price of over 100 euros per night. Go somewhere else!

The hotel is conveniently located. The rooms are sufficiently large. It looks clean at first glance. However, when you shower you can see the mold on the joints up close. Once you take a shower, the next problem begins. The hairdryer works for 2.3 minutes, then goes off and turns on after 5 minutes 30 seconds. The reception was then called. She came after 10 minutes, apologized and said all the hair dryers to rent were on the way but I would get one tomorrow. A replacement never arrived.The bed is sufficiently large and has rather firm mattresses. Unfortunately, there is a gas station right next to it that is lit up at night and shines into the room.The breakfast is varied but at 16 euros it is clearly too expensive. And getting a spot is more of a game of chance.

Overall, the hotel is recommended, although the advantage is that it is located in the immediate vicinity of the A8 Pforzheim-West motorway exit in a business district. The standard is good overall, but the underground car park is so narrow that it is actually only suitable for mid-range cars and requires the driver to have driving skills.There was no hotel information in the room, and unfortunately my request for available radio channels went unanswered. Although displayed in the TV menu, not a single radio station could be received.The breakfast buffet was average, but the selection of tea prepared using a samovar was excellent.The rooms are only cleaned and prepared upon request, but I found this to be a good solution for environmental reasons.

Because of a car breakdown we were stranded in Pforzheim and had to book a room. Due to its proximity we came across the Hotel Residenz Pforzheim and we were lucky, the hotel is very nice, the room was clean, beautifully furnished and the bed was very comfortable , the bathroom was functional, small minus point because the shower head was a bit broken.The staff was very friendly and helpful, whether at check-in or the room lady who showed us the way to the room or when we asked where the bus was and the train station, we were always helped in a friendly manner.Would stay there again at any time

Great price. Generous space. Well maintained. Hotel itself is quiet. Shower, bathroom ok. Staff helpful. Balcony great. WiFi fast. Free parking directly in front of the hotel, provided there are spaces available.However, we still don't stay. Why?It's hot, the room doesn't have air conditioning. To endure the heat we have to open the glass door to the balcony. We sit directly above the gas station. Smell, noise and light from the gas station.

The hotel is conveniently located on the B10. Underground parking for 10€ extra (extortion for one night). After my rejection, the service staff at the reception suddenly weren't so friendly anymore. Rooms are standard, bathroom is small and outdated. There was a small balcony with no (!) privacy screen from the neighbors. Cleanliness issue: Dust in the bathroom, on the lamps, under the bed and on the closet. The hotel hallway (3rd floor) also didn't look cleaned or vacuumed. This should be improved (see also other comments). The breakfast buffet, however, was great!! Large selection, service very friendly. It was always refilled. Coffee machine with several different specialties. It was okay for one night.

Booked: Executive double room including breakfastThe rooms were clean and functional, equipped with a balcony, air conditioning and a shower. Absolutely quiet with the doors and windows closed, the walls seem very well insulated.Every employee we came into contact with was extremely friendly, helpful and patient.Breakfast was served until 10 and on Sundays until 11. There was a large and tasty selection and it was replenished promptly.All in all a very pleasant stay, we will be back!

Nice and friendly welcome, free e-bike storage in the underground car park, good Italian restaurant right next door, breakfast with fresh vegetables and fruit - everything was great for 3 stars. Of course a bit hot at night (August) if you turn off the loud air conditioner or leave the window open. But top price-performance!!

The rooms are a bit old. My room was on the ground floor facing the street. With the high outside temperatures (over 30°C), sleeping with the window open was only possible with earplugs. Roaring engines after midnight are not the hotel operator's fault, but they do make sleeping quite difficult. We were there with 3 colleagues and unfortunately none of us had a restful sleep during the week. Parking in the underground car park costs extra (common these days). The breakfast on the upper floor was OK. I would give 4 stars here. The breakfast room has a great view. Cleanliness in the bathroom was OK, the tiles in the room weren't exactly clean.

Location close to the motorway and Arcusklinik is great. Location on the main street too noisy. Simple rooms without air conditioning. Very warm. Non-smoking rooms, but people smoke on the balconies around them. Rooms older. 2nd bed without bedside table. Curtains dirty. Bathroom Small but functional. Breakfast good.
