I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Kubu Tropis. The location is unbeatable, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the facilities are top-notch. While the hotel can get crowded during peak season, it's definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacations.

Kubu Tropis is a hidden gem in the heart of Ubud. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. I especially loved the pool – it’s clean, free to use, and a great spot to relax. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Ubud, but still quiet and comfortable. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay!

We left the hotel early because we didn't feel comfortable at all.The bathroom was very moldy, the toilet was completely dirty and the floor also had stains. The bed linen and towels also had stains.We were able to change rooms upon request, but the problems persisted.The staff was quite friendly and helpful.Breakfast was okay.

Very nice hotel if you want to visit Ubud. It is within walking distance of the art market, the monkey forest and the center. For the price you pay it is really good. Rooms are spacious and clean and breakfast is included. The people behind the reception are also really helpful.The only downside we found was that unpleasant noises could regularly be heard in the room: a noisy refrigerator, a sound that we could not identify but definitely something mechanical and it reverberates very loudly so you can hear the other hotel guests when they return to their room to go. Not a hotel for peace and quiet, but ideal for a city trip!

The staff spoke good English and were very accommodating. Rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast was enjoyed by all. For the money I honestly couldn’t fault it at all. A great base for sight seeing and with some superb restaurants a short stroll away.

Shower, toilet and pillow cover etc were really dirty. There is no reason to visit this place. I would not recommend this unpleasant place to my friends.

The location is quite close to tourist attractions such as monkey forest, Ubud market art, Sarasvati temple, etc. The waiter is friendly. The breakfast is quite good, the rooms have no amenities, only shampoo and body wash gel, the area is busy but it will be quiet at night. Close to convenient store. So this is the best deal in my opinion.

Considering the price, the futon smells sour, the bathroom doesn't drain well, and the black dust piled up here and there is disappointing.It doesn't feel clean at all, but considering the price-performance ratio, it's just okay, but I wouldn't visit again.

We stayed at Kubu Tropis for 4 nights and we're really happy with our stay. Good clean rooms with good breakfast options. The location was great, close to restaurants and the markets. Staff were really friendly and helped us organise our ATV tour and scooters. 10/10 for the hospitality shown by the staff- super responsive and genuinely nice people just interested in how our day went Vs trying to sell too much

Hotel very well located in Ubud next to the main street, without so much noise. With restaurants around. The service is very friendly, you can hire a taxi service and rent a motorcycle in the same hotel. The pool and good breakfast. The massages in the room to repeat!

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Once you’ve arrived at the hotel, the staff helped you out. You could ask them about the bike rentals and other tourist spots nearby. They provide several options for the breakfast. You could choose the watermelon juice. The hotel is a located on Bisma street which was accessible to the shopping centre and a lot of restaurants there. However, I experienced flash flooding due to the heavy rains during the night on Bisma street. It didn’t affect the hotel facilities.

In the middle of Ubud but on a pedestrian street (so sheltered from traffic), this hotel is really very pleasant! We stayed there for 4 nights and it was a pleasure: the hoteliers are very friendly, attentive and the places are perfect (with a very nice swimming pool). The breakfast choice is quite limited but the rest is perfect! Go ahead with your eyes closed :)
