This hotel is a true haven of peace. The first advantage is the location, it is located in the middle of the rice fields and access is only on foot or by scooter, which gives it its charm, because it is a quiet place where you can relax. falls asleep to the sounds of frogs and others. The owners are adorable, and very accommodating, they picked us up by scooter on the first day and dropped us off for check out as well. They are very flexible and for example served us breakfast earlier several times so that we could go outside earlier in the morning. The pool is great and well maintained. The breakfast is very good (special mention for the chicken sandwich and the fresh fruit juices are excellent.)Everything was perfect, don't even hesitate, we went back twice.A special mention for the 2 employees Wayan and Made who were so kind and helpful to us, always with a big smile and infectious joy. Thanks for everything.Suksma.Raphael and Marie.

A marvel! It can only be accessed by motorcycle, which means it is away from the bustling center of Ubud but at the same time it is 5 minutes from the center!Peace, tranquility, sounds of nature, delicious breakfast… spectacular room!

Today our last day at Cahaya Ubud Villa. What an amazing place this is. In the middle of the rice fields, no mosquitoes, great breakfast. Very friendly staff, always there for you. Small-scale with 5 accommodations. Three more will be added soon. An excellent restaurant "Shanti" is a 7-minute walk away. Good food for little.Ubud center is a 20-minute walk. From the Sari Organic Walk, 15 minutes, turn left into the hustle and bustle after a 5-minute walk. We were disappointed with the crowds. From 9 a.m. until late in the evening there is shuffling traffic, honking horns, and scooters navigating left and right. But back on the SOW, you walk into the peace and quiet and completely relax. If you like yoga, then this path is a true paradise.

It feels like being in paradise. Everything in this place is magical. The staff is too helpful and kind, delicious breakfasts. Clean rooms, beautiful in every design detail. The owner will assist you in everything and it will be one of the most beautiful experiences of your life. In the middle of the rice fields, in a dream. 5 stars but if I could I would give infinite.

You can’t drive through car to this place as it is in between rice plantation. Very nice staff and helpful. Scenic view from the room. Breakfast was too good. As there is no dinner available, you can order food from outside.

Villa Cahaya was the best accommodation we stayed in during our six-week visit to Bali. It is in an excellent location and is worthy of a high recommendation.Perched amidst the lush green rice fields, Villa Cahaya is a mere stone's throw from the bustling centre of Ubud. It's a peaceful retreat, a short walk from many eateries and the local Ubud Yoga schools. My wife visited a nearby retreat, which was well-priced and offered a range of yoga and meditation sessions.Villa Cahaya offers a variety of accommodation options. We opted for a first-floor villa with breathtaking views. The villa, a recent addition, was impeccably clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for our stay. Although we didn't indulge, the spacious bathroom had a bath with a fantastic view. The linen and other amenities were all fresh and spotlessly clean, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic stay. Our room was serviced daily. We found that Villa Cahaya is a collection of bespoke small villas. They surround a beautiful and, again, spotlessly clean swimming pool. With full access to the Balinese sun, this was a highlight, as most villas we have stayed in come with some blind spots. The focal point for Villa Cahaya is the two-story 'Restu'. It is from here that the most beautiful food is served. The food was easily a highlight of our stay. We had a fantastic array of options to satisfy anyone, and the food was made with the freshest ingredients. After visiting the nearby fitness centre, even my voracious appetite was catered for. My favourite breakfast items included coffee, fresh watermelon juice, a local omelette and a fruit platter. That kept me well-fed for the rest of the day until dinner at a nearby restaurant. The service at Villa Cahaya is first-class. The staff are friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. I was given excellent advice and support accessing local tourist highlights. The team at the villa even arranged transport, laundry, and a couple's massage at the top of their Restu, overlooking the rice fields, for a fantastic price. Our highlight was the support we received to learn basic Balinese phrases and greetings. In conclusion, Villa Cahaya is fabulous value for money. It is very well-priced, high-quality accommodation, which I recommend to anyone. We shall revisit this little gem without question.

Wonderful staff, always smiling and go the extra mile to assist you. The atmosphere is stunning. If you don't have a scooter the 1km walk can get tiring but they will taxi you and your luggage when you arrive and leave.

Beautiful villa, helpful staff, delicious breakfastLight sleepers - take earplugs, because the roosters are always crowing! The moment of check-in was also unpleasant for us, because... We arrived at night, if you type into Google maps this address leads to the wrong location, at first we tried for a long time to find the check-in, and then on foot after a 24-hour flight, we were tired and dragged our suitcase for 20 minutes, when we arrived at the villa, no one met us, we barely woke up the administrator , they also did not answer calls to orient us.

I absolutely loved staying here. A beautiful, peaceful oasis away from the busy centre of town, but close enough to walk when you feel like it. Or, you can just spend your time amongst the rice fields where there are cute cafes and restaurants and yoga shalas dotted along the path. The room was lovely, the bath was heavenly, and the people are so nice and friendly. Such a peaceful and relaxing stay, and amazing value for money!
