Bisma eight has a great relaxing vibe. It's off a busy road, but once you're in the hotel it's very relaxing and tranquil. The rooms were very clean and anything you need for your room is brought very quickly. They also took very good care of my allergies. The swimming pool is exactly how it looks in the pictures and is amazing to relax by. Unfortunately if you want to spend the day by the pool under shade, that isn't an option. The pool umbrella's are stationary and you cannot move them around to accommodate the change in the sun's direction. If you are like me and want to enjoy the pool under a shade then be aware that often you could be sitting in the full sun. That stopped us from spending too much time at the pool. The breakfast was nice, but there was no buffet to choose your morning pastries, but the food tasted good and they had variety. My husband was keen to try the indonesian food at breakfast but he didn't feel it was great food, lots of rice and very little meat. At times the service at breakfast was inconsistent. We often came down for breakfast at 10am and by the time we had finished the staff were more preoccupied by setting up for lunch rather than ensuring we could finish our breakfast. The options for eggs on the menu were very good and the poached eggs were perfect.Overall it was a great experience but being able to enjoy the pool under the shade was the biggest disappointment.

Beautiful hotel with very nice, spacious rooms. There is a good gym and they have a super cool infinity pool with a view of the jungle. The reason I don't give 5 stars is because the food was really, really bad. We had lunch here once and dinner twice, each time with different dishes (which were beautifully presented), but each time very tasteless and very dry.

Comfortable hotel, situated on Bisma street, plenty of eateries near by and bars with live music. Had dinner the first night there, felt relaxed and looked after. Breakfast felt rushed, was advertised as, a la carte, hot food arrived before you'd eaten your starters(cereal, fruit) and no where to put it so was scrambling around to find space. Tried explaining that they needed to slow down to no avail. Would stay here again, it's a niggle which didn't really detract from our stay. Hotel close to monkey street and bars and restaurants, but would recommend using a taxi to take you to the centre as Monkey street very busy with traffic. Infinity pool on site and great views over the forest canopy

Comfortable rooms, overlooking lush jungle type gardens. Everything you need could be found on Bisma street, no need to go on Monkey Road to find good eateries and places to have a drink in music bars. Evening meals relaxed setting and very good. Breakfast felt rushed all all food and drinks had a tendency to arrive together.
