Nested in between rice fields, it's quietly hidden from the main streets. The location is perfect as well, with cafes, massage places nearby. The place is only accessible via foot or motorcycles, which isn't a problem as motorcycle is probably the best option for getting around in Ubud.The staff were fantastic, and the food served here at their warung is great as well. Last but not least, do not miss the highlight of the place, cute (little) sugar will definitely brighten your day.

The swimming pool was very nice, unfortunately the whole place, i.e. the building, stairs, rooms, was dirty. There is moisture and mold on the walls in the corners, and the toilet smells musty. The service is very nice, unfortunately only one person speaks English. Breakfast ok. Although we were only there once because we didn't want another day like that. The view from the warung is beautiful over the rice fields. Air conditioning centrally opposite the bed, so the wind blew in our faces all night long. Would I come back here? I don't think so .

Fantastic location surrounded by rice fields.You can't hear the traffic on the main street of Ubud at all!Staff always super friendly and available to satisfy any need.We rented the scooter by asking the staff directly once we arrived in the late afternoon, in the morning it was delivered directly to us at the entrance.Very fast and perfect laundry service, just leave your clothes at reception and they will be returned the following day!Super recommended!

This place is a little haven of peace, quiet environment and very close to the bustling center of UbudThe rooms are large, there is every comfort, excellent cuisine at very good value for money.Candra and her team welcomed us with a smile, it was perfect!Little extra: yoga studio right opposite (which is also very good)

A magnificent small family hotel with 5 rooms in the heart of Ubud but peacefully surrounded by rice fields.Candra and her entire team gave us a welcome and a “family-like” stay.Thank you again and see you soon I hope!

Such a beautiful and calm spot close to the city, but yet on a nice distance away from the crowds. Beautiful rice tresses at your doorstep, and a great rice field walk just outside of the property. Staff was so welcoming and nice as well. Nice pool to use when it gets too hot. Very nice breakfast (with great view) included.Cars are not allowed on the road so the hotel will pick you and your luggage up with a scooter. I recommend using Grab or similar services to get to the city, or drive your own scooter if you are experienced.

Super well maintained and great facility! The local people are really nice and helpful. We felt very comfortable and would come back at any time! Additionally there is a great restaurant and the option to rent a scooter, very practical.Thanks for everything Shanti Rice Field House 😊

An experience not to be missed! Set off a lane way, this 5 room villa shares a stunning pool, an amazing Warong, Ubud Yoga Centre across the path and coffee shops overlooking working rice paddies.The staff are wonderful and couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating. With massage venues, silver making and small art galleries along the laneway, this truly is the place to unwind in Ubud.The Warung is jam packed every night as food is about 35K for a main and delicious, so if you are lucky enough to secure a room then stay an extra night and relax into Bali life with the locals.

As a solo traveler, I spent 6 nights here, and it was a great experience. The location is quite convenient, with many cafes around. The rooms are very clean, and the staff is very attentive to your every need. Make sure to request a room on the upper floors to enjoy the views. Definitely stay here if you're seeking a serene and relaxing time in Ubud. Thank you Candra for everything 🩵

Candra and her family made my stay as welcome and easy as it could be. She was also around, planned trips and was so nice and friendly. You feel like being part of the family.The room is also very spacious and very tidy.The view into the rice fields lets you escape from the busy Ubud, but is only 5mins walk away from the main road.I can highly recommend it when you want to experience the calmness of Ubud, enjoy yoga and feel welcome.Of course it is not one of the 4 Star Spa Resorts - but that’s not what someone should expect - it’s got all you need.

Good onsite staff, they were helpful and friendly and were very reactive and responsive to our requests and issues raised. However, sadly, that's where the positives end.Prior to arrival, we WhatsApp-ed the number provided during booking, and given them a 30 minutes and 5 minutes heads-up. However, when we arrived, no one from the property was present, and we had to drag our heavy luggage up a steep-at-times 15minutes poorly paved pathway to the property. The WhatsApp number provided was not of someone that was physically present at the property and the property informed us that they were unaware of our arrival. This was a terrible start, as they had previously committed a shuttle of our baggage via motorbike through this path, which was provided at our check-out.The room was rather aged, and the bathroom was rather old and dirty, with broken tiles and the walls/floors rather stained. The room was not well insect-proof either, with a dragonfly on one night and large ant on a couple of nights in the bathroom. Strong Wi-Fi in the room, but no television.One of the towels we were given on our first night was badly stained. We did feedback via WhatsApp to the onsite staff, and they were apologetic and quick to respond, ensuring that the towels provided to us on subsequent nights were clean and unstained.Breakfast was good, very delicious, with nice fresh juices. Note that it isn't a buffet breakfast, and you could only choose from one of 4 egg items.Cleanliness is quite a concern - when I asked for ice cubes for my bottle, they picked the ice out of a bag with their hands, and when ice cubes fell back into the freezer (which stored raw meat), they would pick it back up and place into my bottle. Water is available and provided from a dispenser at the check-in desk.Note a 2.5% charge for any Card Payments!

Very beautiful location, in the middle of the rice fields, 5 min walk from the main road, but far enough from all the noise. Rooms are big, they all have a view to the inside garden, pool and rice fields. Cleaning everyday, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. The little restaurant has tasty food, you can have lunch or dinner at the location. Bonus: cute puppy and silly cat, plus an amazing fireflies show at night in the surrounding rice fields. Would totally recommend staying here if you come to Ubud.

The people were very friendly and the room was very good value for money. But the location is difficult to access. Motorcycles keep passing by on a very narrow road and it is quite far from the main road. Breakfast for my taste not good. If you stay overnight I recommend having breakfast somewhere other than the hotel. But the hotel is surrounded by small rice fields and at night they are filled with fireflies and you can see the entire field full of little lights.

A pass from Villa in the middle of rice paddies.A very personalized attention.Fantastic food.A very competitive price.If you were closer, I would go back from time to time.We highly recommend it!Thanks to Candra and all her team, it was a pleasure!!Ubud is the perfect city to go around Bali, and the area where the hotel is located is very close to the center of Ubud but at the same time separate enough to be very quiet.
