On September 28th, 2024 my uncle celebrated his 70th in this facility. He invited the family to this event a year earlier. Of course I wanted to spend the night there with my wife and children (2 years & 4 years). The prices for an overnight stay leave a lot of room for ideas and imagination when it comes to the type and equipment and modern existence of the facility. Sternberg is not a particularly important city for me as a Mecklenburger. I don't know what would draw me to Sternberg. So I had to smile a bit about the price. The location of the hotel is nice, with a view of the lake on one side and sports field on the other, apartment blocks on the other, well. There is mostly carpet in the hotel, in the hallways, in the room, which looks a bit retro and outdated. The bathroom in our room was also not modern and a bit cramped, but still clean! For our children, the bed was folded out of the bed cupboard and thus booked and paid for. There was no elevator, at least not in a way that was visible, nor was there any reference to it. When I asked “Who carries the luggage up, given the prices” (meant to be funny!), I was promptly answered: “Of course you do, you don’t have to book in here!”. It turned out that the nice lady at the reception was the boss. Hats off, as a Mecklenburger I can do other things, but after Corona and at these prices, I would like a little more friendliness! Behind my back, my relatives were approached about me in a professional manner - we laughed about it together. On the subject of friendliness: My greatest praise goes to the restaurant manager, a really likeable guy who made every wish come true, he radiated calm and humor, was always there and solved all concerns, be it technology, cables, etc. - no problem for him ! The other staff also did a great job. The food was terrific, that much has to be said, buffet, really great! The party lasted until 2 a.m., which was also a big plus here. The day after the celebration everything was very relaxed, nice breakfast, quiet checkout, everything was well prepared by the boss, no long waiting times, I also heard a smile, but I think she was happy to be rid of me - that's not to think know and so I make the statement with a wink. I found the statement "Next time you can see where you jump in" rude and disrespectful - my dear, please always think about who you have in front of you. Politeness and professionalism, without emotions, from both sides of course! Bottom line, one night, with use of a bed box and a double bed, three breakfasts, probably my four-year-old, who ate half a roll and €2 tourist tax in cash, we ended up with 197 euros. Increased operating and personnel costs, inflation, all good. I'll just leave the number as it is, but I expect more "wow effect" for this price and, above all, more humor. But maybe I was just unsympathetic, because at least it was mentioned that there are very great people who come back to visit every year. I would also come back to have a drink with the restaurant manager.

The hotel is well located. Unfortunately it was closed. Signs directed us to the snack bar on the beach. It was very good 👍

Despite a telephone reservation and confirmation, we and the birthday group stood in front of the locked restaurant door.

We were there for dinner. It is in a beautiful location with a view of Lake Sternberger. Therefore ignore the room rating. Everything around is clean and tidy, there are enough parking spaces. Price-performance okay. Unfortunately the kitchen closes relatively early, so arrive early in the evening. There is a star deduction in the service for this

We celebrated our wedding with 130 people in the Dreiwasser restaurant and accommodated our closest relatives there. The service staff were excellent, always on hand, friendly and helpful, even though for some people the day started very early and there was another celebration to attend to in the house. The meal was an absolute experience for us and our guests. Everyone enjoyed it and the selection was very extensive. Mr. Broscheid is a top chef. The table decoration corresponded to the mutual agreements and our ideas. The bridal suite is a dream, even for short nights. The only downside were the sometimes lengthy arrangements in advance and the last-minute changes to plans made by the restaurant, which put us and our improvisational talent to the test.

We celebrated my brother's 60th birthday in the hotel on the weekend of July 20th/21st, 2024. It was a completely successful celebration. The location and cleanliness of the hotel and the complex are very good. The rooms were very nice and clean. The service, the food, the rooms and the recommended DJ were perfect. Thanks. Highly recommended for any celebration.
