Great location for this price. The service was quite nice. The rooms are clean and cozy despite their small size. The shower was a bit weak because the water was leaking into the entire bathroom and there was no working fridge to cool drinks on hot days. But I consider my stay quite successful. (also slightly creepy dark corridors)

This has become my favorite hotel in Munich. If I travel to Munich again in the future, I will only book this hotel. The rooms are always clean, spacious and very well equipped. You always feel very comfortable at first. Furthermore, the staff is competent, helpful and friendly. In addition, the staff always tries to accommodate special requests. I always wish to have a room with a bathtub. Some people prefer a bathtub while others prefer a shower. The breakfast is also excellent and the staff there is also very competent and friendly. So if you are looking for a good hotel in Munich, the Hotel am Nockherberg is just the thing. The hotel is also close to the subway station. I can warmly recommend the hotel :)

Dirty, dated, overpriced - charged over 500€ for 2 nights in summer. Noisy and staff were sarcastic and rude when I asked about the hair & stains on bed sheets and if they could be changed. Handy location but plenty of other hotels with better ones.

Beware! Not what they promise on the website re cancellation. I tried booking this hotel online. Page said room not available. But they took over 500€ from my account 10 days before arrival. Contacted them to query this then. …

Clean and tidy hotel with garage in a strategic area next to the Kolumbus Platz metro stop from which you can reach every corner of Munich. Very quiet, it feels like being in the countryside with a good breakfast. It lacks air conditioning and has a bathtub with a very high edge instead of a shower, making access difficult given the lack of handles to lean on. A common problem with German hotels, it does not have a bidet which is essential for us Italians. Quality pillows, duvets and mattresses that don't make you regret those at home. Very kind and attentive staff. Access to the winding garage both for car access and for loading suitcases as it must be accessed through fire doors and various stairs. The car is parked on a rather narrow inclined plate so if you need to access it to get something it is only easy for the skinny. In conclusion, helpful, clean staff, I gave 4 stars and not 5 only for the lack of shower tray, the lack of bidet and air conditioning, and the inconvenient position of the car.

The room was clean and tidy and functionally furnished. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was rich and good (rolls, bread, cereal, fruit, egg variations, selection of coffee, jam, cheese, sausage...). Parking with a parking permit is possible in the area, but you pay 19 euros for the parking permit, even if this is not communicated in advance.

The rooms are simple but it has everything you need. Bathroom is new and beautiful. Beds comfortable. Breakfast fine and fresh. Underground parking can only be used with small cars. Tickets for public transport can be purchased at reception. Staff friendly. Room was warm because there was no air conditioning.

Residential areas. Across from the hotel entrance was a promenade, with freight trains occasionally passing by. A little further down the road, there was a park crowded with local families. You can see the sky with the curtains fully open and it's quiet. The single room was spacious even with my suitcase open.

Great hotel, great slightly retro design that I liked a lot, delicious breakfast in a lovely breakfast room, good location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city , yet still pretty central. Would return, loved the bathroom decor ;)
