After the many negative reviews I have read, I have doubts as to whether I stayed in the same hotel as the other reviewers.We were pleasantly surprised by the clean room, bathroom very clean, the family room was large and well equipped. In my opinion, the furniture belongs to the atmosphere of the place, i.e. rustic.Breakfast; There was everything different types of bread, sausage, cheese, etc. so everything for a good breakfast.The operators, friendly and helpful.The location is very strategic, very nice excursion destinations nearby.Conclusion; You shouldn't just limit yourself to the reviews of others but make your own judgment.We'll be back!Thanks

Spacious Large rooms, 2 bathrooms, lots of storage space. Rooms are quaint.Breakfast including everything was available and it was refilled regularly.Staff friendly.Would recommend and will definitely come back.

The old lady is pretty run down.You can tell from the Waldhorn that it used to be a good place to stay overnight.Idyllically located in the mountains and well equipped, the quality had already declined significantly at the time of our visit.The complaints range from rubbish bins in the rooms not being emptied before check-in, to TVs not working, to unfriendly staff and a lack of cleanliness and hygiene.Holidays and overnight stays elsewhere please

The rooms and hotel are a bit old, but if you don't have high expectations, it's completely sufficient. Cleanliness in the room and in the restaurant could be better. When we arrived there were still a few hairs on the floor in the bathroom from the previous person. I'm not very demanding, but that's a no-go for me too. And in the breakfast room/restaurant the dirty tablecloths were simply turned around instead of being replaced.And the lady at reception and in the restaurant didn't exactly invent friendliness. In the end, my husband and I took her behavior with humor.What should be highlighted is the very quiet yet central location in the middle of the Allgäu. In the morning you are woken up by the cowbells and look at the mountains from the balcony.

Very nice little hotel nestled at the foot of the ski slopes around the Austrian village of Jungholz. It offers an Italian restaurant, a gym, a swimming pool and spacious and very clean rooms.

Only recommended for a transit trip. Old and dated hotel with very limited facilities. Our room was okay, clean and a great shower in a bathtub with shower curtain. Unfortunately, there has been smoking in the room and the bad smell cannot be removed. The beds are good. The price for the overnight stay is fine.The menu is Italian oriented, basic and the food is excellent. Cappuccino not available. Skiwasser is unknown and they do not have a Hefeweizen in house. The breakfast was also basic, some rolls were not completely fresh. But all in all the food is okay.The service and management are terrible. The operators are not from Austria, but somewhere from Eastern Europe. Unfriendly and curt in half-German. The clothing they wear is not appropriate for running a chip shop on a campsite, let alone a hotel or restaurant. I heard the female manager shouting and snapping at several guests. That is really not possible and detracts from hospitality!We will therefore skip this location from now on. With different operators and a makeover, something can really be done.

The hotel is located in the ski resort, in the immediate vicinity of the ski hill. The hotel has its own private parking lot. The reception desk is located on the restaurant side. The hotel has its own restaurant where you can have dinner and enjoy the evening outside.

Called and got a room, arranged a time at which we could come, arrival was delayed by a few minutes, so we called again and said that we needed a short break from riding the motorcycle. The room was then taken away from us. We immediately suggested driving straight to the hotel, which meant there was hardly any loss of time, but it wasn't all right either. Maybe not a big loss when I read the reviews🕺🏼

Speechless - Yelled at by landlords + thrown out. When we asked for coffee at 9:45 (the breakfast buffet had already been cleared), we were loudly told that breakfast was only available until 10 (?). OK for us, but the landlady continued to complain loudly about our "insolence" next door, whereupon we pointed out the time (to show that we didn't want to upset them, as they had already turned off the lights in the guest room at 9:40). She was completely freaked out: whether we were working, she would only be paid until 10, she didn't have to sit with us because we were like her children (?!!), whether we were here on vacation (yes), we had been sitting since "30 Minutes around here doing "blablabla" and now we remembered we wanted another coffee. Finally her husband came and shouted "this is my house, get out!" and cleared away our still filled glasses and cups. On our way out there was shouting at us in German and Romanian. Stupid if the guests understand Romanian. We have never been treated so outrageously globally - and for no reason at all. The other guests in the room were shocked (and were sitting at breakfast tables that were still full, having previously brought and offered us their own coffee out of pity).The only person who ever smiled/greeted back and didn't tear up when your back was turned was the cleaner.Maybe the landlady was annoyed that we asked about the Wi-Fi the day before, after we saw from the laminated information sheet at the (never manned) reception that we needed a code and had to sign something in order to be able to log in for a fee. The information was apparently from the previous owner of the hotel, as it was out of date.

It's all a question of price. The hotel is not up to date, the breakfast is okay and the friendliness as well. But it is very uncomplicated and in a quiet area.

Impossible!!! Never again!! Actually a nice hotel. A bit old, but that doesn't bother us. What is impossible are completely neglected and dirty rooms and staff, whose unfriendliness and listlessness cannot be surpassed. And that has nothing to do with the price.When you arrive you are not greeted, when you ask about parking you get the answer: “not my problem”.When you come to have breakfast, you are immediately pushed to the table without saying good morning and said: “over there”. If the staff is in baggy casual clothes (football sweatshirt and slippers)Standing around and cursing in some Eastern European language, you feel like you're in a bad youth hostel.Breakfast? Well, coffee from a pot that's covered in dirt, cereal that's probably so old that it's only available in whole lumps, sausage and cheese from Aldi, scrambled eggs that are dark and smell rancid. That was the breakfast selection. The room!!! A personal highlight. Mold in the bathroom, everywhere ☝️☝️, dark long hairs on the floor, toothpaste in the sink, the carpet is dirty, dust everywhere that isn't from the day before, bundles of dust under the bed, long dark hairs on the bed again.I could list more, but this hotel is not worth this valuable time.There was a farewell with the words: “Put the key at the reception, I won’t take it down here.”A goodbye or even a thank you or a safe journey?NoneMaybe the owner should rethink or train his staff. In any case, I won't be coming back and I advise everyone against this house.

Excellent transit hotel. Located in a beautiful area. First impression of hotel. Bah bah. The musty smell when you enterReception is closed. An outdated lot. But it's good. You have to see through it. €155 for 4 people including breakfast.Note was left down for check-in at the restaurant.There stood a somewhat unfriendly woman. But did her job.Rooms are noisy. Beds are wonderful.Shower also good. We wait for breakfast. Unfortunately that is from 8 am.Wifi is bad. Very important for kids 😂Didn't want to eat in the restaurant. Because it looked unpleasant, we went to eat somewhere else. in the valley 11 minutes walk. Very worthwhile at the ski lift

The hotel's guest room is very spacious...there is enough distance from the next table everywhere. Tables, chairs and benches wonderful. Beautiful table linen. Modern Allgäu furnishings, very attractive.Pizza was delicious.
