The rooms are not cleaned everyday, but they do enter the rooms everyday to empty the trash (and to leave hair in the sink, such a weird present). The staff is nowhere to be found after 8 pm, the main door, reception, and kitchen are locked (bring your own bottle opener and cups) and they even shut down the light on the halls, so if you arrive later, bring a flashlight. Impossible to get water during the night and during breakfast, some rooms don't have a cup prepared so you might want to get a small bottle to fit under the tap or cup your hands. Staff only speaks german, no english. The older couple taking care of the place are nice people and they try to do their best, but they definitely should have more staff especially for cleaning and maintenance. The furniture is old, and the walls need new paint. There was no heating in the rooms, we were frozen. Some windows in the second building don't shut completely, so cold enters during the night, even when heating is started. The breakfast is very plain and without variety everyday: there's no eggs, no sausages, no yoghurt, and no fruits or vegetables, only bread with slices of salami (3 types) and cheese (generic cheese, one type) and butter packs. There were some sweet options for breakfast: milk with oats muesli, and sweet bread with jam. No tea and water options, only some very light coffee. Positive: the water pressure is alright and have hot water.

The guest house is located in a small town next to the highway, so it’s easily accessible but also quiet. Our room was clean and the beds were ok for one night stay. The decor is a bit outdated but actually quite atmospheric. We came in at 1am at night and the host left us keys at the back door to checkin ourselves. In the morning we just paid and went on our way.Overall a good place to stay for one night

Horrible, on booking the rooms look really nice but when you get there, you might even think that the room you reserved is in a different building. The beds aren’t clean when I saw the pillow it was half red. One of the beds wasn’t even a bed because they just gave you a mattress on the ground. The walls had stains from people’s hair. The toilet was extremely dirty it was yellow and all around it was some sticky stuff that came out of the toilet. Above the bathroom there was a mushroom. Definitely I wouldn’t recommend that place.

Horriable place, trying to get cash only, while denying to have a cardmachine. After 30 min of arguing she finally took the cardmachine up from the bottom shelf, but then wanted more money for the room cause we wasent willing to pay in cash

I stayed in this hotel three nights. Basically it is a quite old and decent bavarian hotel in a lovely town. My room was clean, the bathroom had been renovated, but maybe the rest of the room would need soon a refresh as well. …

For a hotel that's on the way to Austria, it's good enough. The service is good and friendly but not the fastest. The room is not very spacious but is perfect for a one night stay. The bathroom had a certain smell though, but we smelled it also on the street so maybe it's a local sewage problem? It's a shame the hotel it self is kind of dark and old fashioned, if they would renovate the whole building into something more modern it would be perfect. The village itself isnt really lively but there are a few other hotel-restaurants with great food.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, we loved the vintage decor! And the same about our room, it was clean and we had there everything we needed. On top of that, the stuff was very lovely! Also, the hotel is located in the center of the old square, it’s close to various restaurants, bakeries, shops, pharmacies and the church. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitely we’ll be visiting again!

Run down, not well maintained and understaffed although the one lady there was nice enough. The rooms are not bad for the price, but the food was bad and we were served warm beer. When we returned the beer they gave us another warm one, which we had to pay for although we didn’t drink that either. Four plates of fries and boring schnitzels that you will find better on an average ferry served with nothing but two magnum bottles of discount ketchup and mayo cost us a total of 67 eur and the hotel will not accept cards.Would avoid eating here for sure and ask to see the room before checking in - there are many other nicer places in town.

We stayed for 1 night at this hotel while traveling to Munich. It was o.k., but I don't know if I would stay there again.  …

The hotel was amazing. Very quaint and stylish. The breakfast was great as well. Location is great in a quiet german village but close to the motorway. We were tired and couldn't find a reasonable hotel at that time of day. The host was very understanding over the phone and arranged for us to have access to the room even though it was past midnight. Highly recommended!
