When we arrived we had tons of stink bugs in our room because the window was probably open. Despite overbooking, we got another room relatively easily, where I then had to carry the mattress topper into the second room due to the lack of housekeeping.Unfortunately there were also a lot of bugs in the second room (the room was exactly 2 floors above the other) and ladybugs. Since rebooking wasn't possible, I caught it and flushed it down the toilet. The problem became less, but there were still animals on the day of departure (without us opening the windows). Unfortunately, despite mentioning the problem, the room was only cleaned on the 3rd day. i.e. There were dead ladybugs on the carpet in places. We actually got the first apology at check-out, after mentioning it again and the last complaint (we were there for 3 nights) and we were excused with a few free bottles of water. The activities on the 1st and 2nd days amounted to "we'll write it down for the service tomorrow"...If we hadn't been there with a large fixed price tour group, we certainly wouldn't have paid for the room or left, especially since we were there with a 9 month old...However, the service at breakfast and the breakfast itself were great.

The rooms are from the 2000s and are in urgent need of renovation. Although the furnishings are very old, they are of very high quality and clean. We didn't find the pillows and the bed that comfortable either, which is not to be expected from a hotel chain like this. In addition, there weren't even slippers or bathroom accessories available in the room. Unfortunately the remote control was defective.

Were there for a seminar from Monday to Friday. The staff, simply great. There are always enough people around you without seeming intrusive. Rooms were ok. From the 7th floor the view over Augsburg gets better and better. The only thing that isn't nice is the parking. Buy the ruins next to the hotel and turn it into a parking garage. Then I'll definitely come back

The room was very clean. The shower spacious. The bathroom overall was very tidy and functional. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast buffet was okay/breakfast room was generous. The parking garage next door has been in ruins for a long time. To park, you have to look either in the adjacent residential area or in the parking lot of the Erhard Wunderlich sports hall a few hundred meters away (not so great).

Very pleasant and well-maintained house with good parking. Rooms modern, breakfast great, but above all the flexibility for our group was the icing on the cake for us and made our stay logistically easier. We'd love to come back!

Location/location great!Parking nearby on the side of the road - hassle-free!Check in 3 p.m. & we were there at 3:15 p.m. - room not ready yet. Then had to wait another 15 minutes. I don't think that's possible! The least they could have offered as “compensation” was a free drink! The room was clean & okay. A bit small. Balcony view quite nice.Price performance but good!

It's not understandable why this hotel has 4 stars! The building itself exudes 80s charm. Run down, partially blocked off with construction fences. A ruined parking garage right in front of it. Overgrown footpaths, hardly any parking options. The only large parking lot is a good 600 meters away. In the evening in the dark to the hotel past an unlit park. The room was dirty, the carpet was worn and stained. Hair and dirt everywhere in the bathroom. The toilet brush is totally dirty. The door hinges covered with a thick layer of dust. I'm not used to that from the Dorint hotel chain. The standard would deserve a maximum of 2 stars. Luckily I only had to spend a good 6 hours there. It's a shame you can't upload pictures.

The hotel has a very particular structure, it is a tall building with a circular shape, but a little dated. The rooms are spacious but rather minimal in amenities. …

We are in transit. We checked in here for 2 days to see Augsburg. By the way, room 1413 is on Friday, September 13th.First of all, the reception staff is very friendly and helpful. Thanks. The location is great. The rooms are ok, spacious and bright, with a balcony. Some things in the bathroom are in need of repair and are worn out, as is the desk lamp that doesn't work. But these are small things. We skipped room service.Out of stupidity, because we didn't have any credit cards and because we trusted the integrity of the hotel, we didn't leave our travel funds and a large amount of our refund that we wanted to exchange in the safe in the room while we were away.Big mistake. When we returned, most of the money was stolen. This has never happened to us in Italy, Spain and the Caribbean. It wouldn't have been such a loss then. Already your own stupidity. The reception staff helped and supported us. Thanks for that. Just a warning...it's better to be safe than sorry.
