This is typical of the Motel One chain. Our room was pretty basic, but had all that is needed of a short stay. Breakfast was excellent and good value. The bar had a good selection of drinks and plenty of comfortable seating. The reception staff were efficient and very friendly. Location is absolutely perfect. Altogether good value.

Small rooms and despite being advertised, no air conditioning, rooms are incredibly hot and stuffy,(we booked 2 rooms, both were the same). We notified the reception and were told that AC does not work when it is cool outside, it is end of May, come on, and we should open the windows. But it was loud all night from dusk till dawn, presumably staff from the nearby restaurant chatting away and moving their chairs loudly across the pavement, asking them to be quiet did not help, so we got no sleep, both nights we stayed. At 4 deliveries in the courtyard, with continued noise. Cannot recommend, although pretty typical for hotels in this category in Würzburg.

This is a pretty new Hotel and you can see it. Also one of the most friendly staff ever met in Germany. The beds were very comfortable, also everything very clean, AC in rooms. The location is perfect for sightseeing on foot.

This hotel is hard to beat when it comes to location. Everything is in easy walking distance. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, and very well sound-proofed. Beds are very comfortable, however there are only double beds available.Unfortunately, there is no parking (there is, for disabled persons) at the hotel.The bar/lounge area is cozy, and the staff is very friendly.Unfortunately, the same seating opportunities are what is available for breakfast, which was a turn-off for us. There is a spectacular view of the Festung from the lounge area.

I stay here on my business trips to Wurzburg and am never disappointed.Great location very close to the centre.Very quiet. It's not been open very long and is very fresh and tidy, lots of cool decor and modern features. Comfortable beds and lovely rooms.Teas and coffee on tap 24 hours.A couple of things to note.. they don't provide bottled water in the rooms so make sure to get some before you go up. Breakfast is buffet style but a bit sparse in my opinion, also a mad rush after 07.30 so get in early or you'll be grabbing fruit and pastries to go.Overall a great place to stay, very comfortable and reasonably priced.Highly recommend it.

I recently enjoyed a stay at this hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, along with the breathtaking balcony views, were definite highlights. Additionally, the ground floor area, featuring cozy couches and a selection of books, provided an excellent space to unwind.However, I must point out that certain aspects of the room and overall experience seem more tailored to male guests, which can be inconvenient for female travelers. For instance, in single rooms, they provide only one bath towel and one hand towel, which falls short for women, especially those with longer hair who typically require an extra towel.The bathroom setup was also less than ideal for female guests. The lack of shelf space in the shower ir any space to put any necessary product for the shower made it challenging to use hair care products or other toiletries conveniently. The design of the shower glass further exacerbated this issue, as it prevented me from accessing stuff and having to exit the shower to access my conditioner, comb, etc; all necessary items for a shower; resulting in a wet bathroom.Another inconvenience was the absence of hair dryers in the bathroom. While I was able to obtain one from the reception promptly, I had to make an early-morning trip downstairs to request it since I hadn't thought of it when I checked in late at night. If the hairdryers are not available in the room, a mention while checking in would have been important.These may seem like minor issues individually, but collectively, they indicate a lack of consideration for female travelers. It's disappointing that despite paying the same amount as our male counterparts, we don't enjoy the same level of convenience and thoughtfulness in room design. I've had positive experiences with this hotel chain in the past, particularly as a business traveler, but I believe there's room for improvement in catering to the needs of female guests. These observations are just a few examples from my two-night stay, and I hope they can serve as constructive feedback for enhancing the experience for female travelers.
