We got robbed! Terrible Experience – Unsafe, Unclean, and Unhelpful StaffI recently stayed at Vienna House in Munich for a four-day trip with two other couples (6 people total, 3 different rooms) for Oktoberfest, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. From the moment I entered the room, it smelled strongly of cigarettes, despite being a non-smoking room, and the room itself felt dingy and unclean. We were also given the wrong room. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of the issues. After one night of stay, the next day, despite having the "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, someone entered our room while we were out and stole money. When we reported this to management, instead of addressing the security issue, they implied that it was our fault for having that much cash. We asked them to check their records of who entered our room, but they refused unless we filed a police report, which wasn't feasible as we were leaving soon. There was no accountability on their part, and they suggested filing a police report as a condition to refund the two nights we didn’t stay due to feeling unsafe after the theft.Other couple #1, also despite having the "Do Not Disturb" sign on their door, while lounging in bed (out of sight of door), heard someone open their door twice, then close again. Then the third time their door opened, a woman popped her head in and quickly closed their door without saying anything. The woman did not announce if she was housekeeping, so it alarmed them to bolt their door, but the bold was broken! Other couple #2, luckily, no one opened their door, ran out of toilet paper and hotel staff brought them tissue paper instead. Both couples 1 and 2, asked for a late checkout (12:00pm) the night before and was told that would be fine, but at 11:30am the front desk called telling them they needed to leave the room by 11:00 original checkout time). This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t recommend Vienna House to anyone. The lack of security and poor management made the stay extremely unpleasant and stressful

*DO NOT STAY AT THE VIENNA HOUSE EASY HOTEL BY WYNDHAM MÜNCHEN*I stayed at the Vienna House Easy hotel along with 2 other couples (6 people total, 3 different rooms) to enjoy Oktoberfest for the first time. All 3 couples travel often and this was the worst hotel customer service we've experienced. I'll start with couple #1 since they had the worst experience and their post was mysteriously removed from Google reviews.Couple #1: They were robbed by someone pretending to be a housekeeper on Thursday October 3rd. They immediately reported the missing money to hotel staff and was told to speak to the general manager the next morning. This couple felt unsafe staying at this hotel so they moved to a different hotel the same night they were robbed. The next morning, this couple returned to speak to the general manager with the help of their German local family member. Unfortunately the general manager was extremely unhelpful; she treated them like they were foreigners without rights. Couple #1 had seen the face of the the suspicious woman that had entered their room as "a housekeeper", but the hotel general manager refused to check any security footage and refused to initiate any sort of report or investigation.Couple #2 (me): My husband and I left the "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door for our entire stay because we did not need housekeeping. We also ALWAYS deadbolt lock our door at night. On the same morning of Thursday October 3rd, I heard my door open twice, then close again, as if someone had looked into our room, noticed we were still home, and left. I thought this was strange because we had deadbolt locked the door, but since no one came in, I just went back to sleep. Then at around 11 AM that morning, I was getting ready at a desk that is visible to the front door, and the front door opened a THIRD time and a woman popped her head in. She and I made eye contact and she quickly left without saying anything. Usually a housekeeper would always knock and announce it was housekeeping, but this time the door just opened and the woman looked suspicious. We later realized the deadbolt lock on our door WAS BROKEN. After hearing about couple #1's experience, we felt extremely unsafe about the lack of security at this hotel.Couple #3: Even though this hotel belongs to the Wyndham hotel chain, this hotel lacks a lot of basic needs. Couple #3 asked front desk for more toilet paper, and the hotel staff brought them a box of tissues... We also had trouble getting still water to drink. The night before checkout, we asked front desk for late checkout and he said late checkout at 12 PM was ok. In the morning at 11:30 AM, we get a call from front desk telling us we needed to leave by 11 AM (the original checkout time). Upon checkout, the lobby does not have a room to keep your luggage while you wait for your flight. The lobby just has this small corner with a sign that says "Leave your luggage at your own risk."Overall, we definitely would have taken more action against the gross negligence and security issues at this hotel, but as tourists leaving Germany in a couple of days, there was little we could do. The general manager was the worst person to speak to about this as she lacked empathy and she offered no help.

Decent budget hotel, can’t comment on the service as we only interacted with reception twice when checking in and checking out but that experience was good. Rooms were clean and tidy. The location dependent on your needs could be good. Ten minute walk to the nearest mainline station or thirty minute walk to the city centre. I used Uber to move about the city and that was also reasonably priced. Would I stay here again? Probably not purely on its location but the hotel was fine.

A very nice and central, cozy "adult hotel" for non-smokers in Nymphenburg, without loud and screaming children! …

Disappointing stay. The room was very basic and the bed was very uncomfortable. We had the do not disturb sign on the door but the cleaner walked straight into the room without knocking whilst me and my partner were changing. I asked for a bottle of water at reception and was told that the hotel does not stock water, even though the next day i saw a fridge full of drinks including water around the corner from the reception area. There was not a safe space to store luggage if arriving at the hotel before checking time which was very inconvenient so we had to pay a shop to safely store our luggage. Our key cards stopped working everyday, and one night we were stuck outside the hotel, luckily, someone was in reception and was able to let us in. The reception staff were not accommodating. I overheard another customer asking for a spare blanket and they were told no.
