Wonderful hotel, speechless!Hearty breakfast, the view from the room was the Alpsee lake. From the bathroom it was possible to have a view of Neuschwanstein Castle.

The rooms are spacious, tasteful and very clean. The spa area is beautifully laid out and the view of the Alpsee from the relaxation room or from the lawn is breathtaking.Despite the many tourists in town, the hotel grounds are pleasantly quiet and the rooms are well insulated. For breakfast every day a chef prepares freshly made omelettes, fried eggs etc., while you can enjoy the view of Neuschwanstein Castle.The only small drawback is that the wait staff sometimes couldn't keep up with preparing the tables when there was a rush for breakfast, so you sometimes had to wait a short time for your table.

Beautiful place.Positive aspects- top location- stylish furnishings- large parking lot- Sights in the immediate vicinity- great view of the lake- beautiful wellness area- clean rooms- beautiful outdoor areaNegative aspects- Despite being a guest, you didn't get a seat in the restaurant for the entire weekend- Outdoor parking space is relatively expensive, considering that it is a gravel space, and should be included in a hotel like this- Breakfast buffet was almost empty at 10 a.m- There are far too few loungers in the wellness area for the number of guests- Bouquet of flowers is quite expensive at 40 euros- Prices for the minibar are visible everywhere, but the minibar was completely empty- Bar staff very special, unfortunately not in a good way- Pool absolutely too coldAll in all a nice hotel, but one visit is enough.

Everything together is TOP 👍.I have one restriction because of the breakfast buffet. It is rich and varied, but unfortunately the bacon, the sausages and the scrambled eggs are lukewarm at best. Even though the delicious white sausages are in a pot in the water, you don't get a hot or even very warm meal here either 🙈. Very unfortunate.

Great hotel. Service was good and the spa was very relaxing. Not many food options around and prices for food at the hotel are on the higher side so plan accordingly if you don't want to drive back into town to eat. Food from the bar was good but limited selection. The breakfast buffet, on the other hand, was very delicious and extensive. The bed, bathroom and floors of the room were clean but there were cobwebs above the TV. Not that big of a deal but makes me wonder how thoroughly the whole room is (or isn't) cleaned.

This hotel doesn’t fully live up to the 4-star rating.They charge quite a bit for parking.the swimming pool was too cold to comfortably enjoy, and the breakfast was quite limited, with few options. For a 4-star, I expected a bit more variety and quality in this area.The hotel has a decent location, but considering the price, there may be better choices in the area.

Stayed with my husband. Visited this area after a couple days in Munich for Oktoberfest. Perfect getaway. We had such an amazing time! Would stay here again. The hotel was beautiful, modern, and clean. Service was excellent. Breakfast was awesome. Great location and views. You cannot go wrong.

I would highly recommend this hotel and amenities to anyone. The location is perfect and surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery you could imagine. There are easy-moderate hikes/walks for daily adventures. The hotel service is top-notch. Steve at the Ludwig Bar was outstanding and welcoming to all who enter.First picture is the the hotel from Hohenschwangau, and the second is Hohenschwangau from our room.

We had a 5 star experience from this 4 star hotel! From the location to the breakfast to the spa and restaurants to the Ludwig bar, We cannot say enough nice things about our experiences here. Staff was friendly, attentive, and ensured a great experience. Of special note were the check in staff who held out bags until our room was ready, the restaurant staff at both breakfast and dinner, and the bar staff (Stephen and Gina)!

This place is magical ! The views the lovely rooms , could not be more perfect! The restaurant The Lisl was excellent food . We came back for another couple days as it was so enchanting. The pool the spa the castles, two of them , could not have been more beautiful. If you ever get the opportunity to stay at this hotel savor every minute. Do not miss the paddle boats on the breathtaking lake that the hotel overlooks. Pristine perfection!

We stayed here two nights while visiting the castle. The spa was nice, the food decent. Our room was not great. I did inquire about upgrading and was told they had no more rooms. Our bathroom had mold and spider webs and the bedroom was pretty shabby.
