Best service, especially when life has other plans. A few hours after checking in we had a medical emergency and unfortunately had to leave immediately. The hotel took excellent care of us throughout and surprised us with a voucher. Many thanks to Ms. Kraning! We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Videos and pictures of the hotel don’t capture the REAL 5 Star experience. That is delivered by the COMPLETE Kempinski team. From the doormen, reception, concierge, bar , room service and in all restaurants - the staff are genuinely friendly, supportive, respectful and professional. We have often experienced weakness in parts of the service offering at many truely 5 Star hotels. Here you don’t find it. It is wonderful to experience such effortless consistency. We know how hard that is to deliver. KUDOS to a world-class team.

Great! We spent our two-week annual vacation here. The house exceeded our expectations. It offers everything you would expect from such a luxury hotel and has such a pleasant, casual elegance that we felt comfortable from the first moment. We had a terrace room, which had a beautiful view of the mountains, a good start to the day when we woke up in the morning. We ate our breakfast every morning in the fireplace room because we traveled with a dog. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, with everything your heart desires. Special requests are happy to be fulfilled. We didn't visit the restaurants because dogs aren't allowed there, but the evening menu in the fireplace room is sufficient for a delicious dinner. The spa is great, one of the best I know, with a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam sauna, various cold and warm showers, a lounge area and a separate darkened relaxation room where nothing can be heard. There is also a swimming area with an indoor and outdoor pool, a special experience. The location of the hotel in the middle of the mountains is a dream. At night it is absolutely quiet, no annoying noise can be heard. The fluctuation in the hotel is quite high, bus travelers often only come for one night, but that didn't bother us. The house is big enough.Everyone, really all the hotel staff are extremely friendly, helpful and courteous and make my stay a great pleasure. We definitely want to come back.

Let me start with a positive thing - bar manager Sam Saha was extremely kind, professional, welcoming, makes amazing drinks and has a great attitude!Restaurant Pur is spot on - extremely knowledgeable staff, great service, wonderful chef, the best food ever.Massage lady was also great as well as concierge Andreas.Consequently reasons why the rating isn’t lower. Now, for the negative experience:We encountered multiple issues with housekeeping during our stay. Basic amenities like shower gel, shampoo, and toothpaste were frequently missing, and we had to call at least twice each time to request them. Despite informing reception when we left the room and requesting that it be cleaned while we were out (for 6-8 hours at a time), the room was never cleaned within that window. After returning from activities like rafting, hoping to rest, staff would arrive to clean—often with an attitude of frustration if we mentioned we wanted to stay in the room at that point. This pattern repeated almost every day during our five-day stay.Additionally, my partner’s birthday was during our stay, and before we went to dinner, I asked the reception to contact the restaurant and arrange for a small surprise cake to be brought at the end of the meal. I was met with a remark about why I was requesting this last minute, despite emphasizing that I didn’t need anything elaborate, just a simple surprise, and restaurant anyway had plenty of deserts to order. Unfortunately, no cake ever arrived. It was disheartening that such a small yet meaningful request went unmet, especially given our experience with other 5-star hotels, including other Kempinski locations. As Titanium level guests, the lack of willingness to help with such a simple request, as well as the overall poor service from reception, fell far short of the seamless luxury experience we’ve come to expect.

The best hotel with the most beautiful view The most delicious food (2-star Michelin restaurant)Located in Berchtesgaden, a small German city on the border with Austria. Just 28km from Salsplus, located on a prominent hill. Nearby there are many beautiful tourist spots. Lots of activities, both trail trek and hike. There is a swimming pool with temperature adjustment, fitness room, spa. The room has a very good atmosphere. There is a very beautiful view from the balcony. Modern large bathroom The bed was big and the pillows were very good. Should stay 2 nights or more. Private parking under the building And there's plenty of bus parking outside.
