We were in the storm for the first time. The highlight for us was the kitchen - absolutely TOP. The very friendly service, the reception and the wellness treatments were all great. An indoor swimming pool would be a great investment. The sink in our room is too small for even one person, which is why the room has one star less.

We stayed in the storm for 2 nights and had a garden room. The room had a great view of the snack garden and the great swimming pond, where we refreshed ourselves after the sauna sessions. The wellness area deserves a full 5 stars, simply great and quiet and not overcrowded. We chose the hotel mainly because I wanted to enjoy a shiatsu treatment. I was not disappointed..... Many thanks to Carmen for the professional treatment. She sensitively guided my body into self-healing and I just felt right in this place. We booked another treatment with Carmen straight away.The food in the storm is absolutely amazing, organic and incomparable to anything. You have to experience it to be believed. Price-performance ratio is good, you won't be disappointed here.The only thing I notice about the furnishings is that the mirrors were installed incorrectly; they reach to the ceiling but not to the floor. At 1.65 m tall, I could just see my neck... 😉, the rest remained a secret. 😅 (maybe a good thing, given the delicious food)Conclusion: we would love to come back and spread the word!Warm greetings from the Sanmann family

Great hotel, totally worth the price!We received a friendly welcome and the hotel even solved the problem of not being able to charge our electric car for us.Food, rooms and wellness were great. The only small drawback is certainly the expressway, but that didn't really bother us and the hotel obviously couldn't change it.We really liked the food and the open kitchen concept at dinner. Everyone served us very friendly and fulfilled our wishes. We were particularly pleased that organic was actually implemented in the best possible way. Even when I saw that the kitchen had started cleaning in the evening, organic cleaning products were used.We'd love to come back :-), I hope there will be more hotels like this in Germany in the future!

Actually, you shouldn't recommend this insider tip at all :)We had such a lovely weekend! Our garden room was a dream. Large, bright, with its own loungers in front of the terrace and it smelled comfortably of wood. The garden is super nice with the sauna and the swimming pond - every now and then you can hear a frog croaking :-D We didn't use the wellness area inside due to the weather, but it also looked very cozy and modern. Yoga room is available.There's nothing you can say about the food except that it was terrific. Great selection at breakfast, the fresh bread is incredibly tasty, fresh scrambled eggs to taste, fruit, tea, cold cuts - nothing was missing. At dinner the salad buffet was a very positive surprise; we have rarely eaten such good and creative salads. For the main courses you could flexibly create components as you wished. Quality 1a with stars. The service was always very nice and helpful.In short: a perfect weekend!Thank you for this great stay, we will definitely come back!

A wonderful Fri-Sun arrangement is behind us! Friendly welcome, warm service in the bar and restaurant and a cuisine that leaves nothing to be desired. Our garden room was cozy, well maintained and the garden invites you to linger. Unfortunately the weather was mixed, we were only able to look at the natural swimming pond 😉 It entices us to come back when the temperatures are slightly milder! A special thank you to Ms. E.Werner for helping with the birthday surprise❤️From Mellrichstadt you can go on lovely trips to the Rhön and we slept peacefully at night.

The Sturm offers its guests an extraordinary ambience to enjoy with all their senses and unwind.The hotel team is super friendly and helpful, exudes joy in the service and ensures a feel-good atmosphere from the moment you arrive.The culinary offer - both at breakfast and at dinner - is top and exceeds all expectations - creative, fine, attractively presented culinary delights - fish, meat, vegetarian, vegan - everything fine, tasty and to the point. Everything is fresh, some from our own snack garden.Garden with old trees, swimming pond, indoor and outdoor spa, loungers and hammocks in the spacious garden offer plenty of space for peace, relaxation and recreation.The rooms and sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained.The only criticism: the nearby street disturbs your night's sleep if you like to sleep with the window open.But that's about it for criticism.Price-performance ratio absolutely okay. Gladly again.

"Das Sturm" scores points with things that are not available elsewhere: special architecture and materials, magnificent integration of the extensive natural garden, a lovingly landscaped natural pond instead of an outdoor pool, an outdoor sauna in the garden, which is a small but beautiful sauna area House adds, a hospitality and food concept that is neither the usual buffet boredom nor fake fancy cuisine, and above all the warmth of the employees, which greets you everywhere.But it also scores points for things it doesn't offer: TV in the room, intrusive sound on the terrace, standard beers from other regions, paid and somewhat unpleasant parking options, and the aforementioned standard pool.We felt like we were in great hands and will be coming back for a few more days.

The hotel leaves nothing to be desired. The garden with organic pond is simply wonderful. The food was delicious and the garden rooms were very spacious and tasteful. But the rooms, which are a little cheaper, are also very nice. A place where you can recharge your batteries and relax well. It's a shame that it's so far away from our home, we would like to come more often.

This was my third time in the storm and I wasn't disappointed this time either. The food was again fantastic, the service was great, you could switch off in the park-like garden and unwind in the natural pond and the sauna followed by a massage was very relaxing! Thanks for the great time!

Hello everyone,No feedback here. In general we liked it. The garden rooms are great!* I think 8 hangers for two people are a bit too few for such a great and large closet.* My wife was missing a full-length mirror. I also have an idea and that is to mount it on the sliding door.* The fact that the shower gel is on the floor in both the shower in the room and in the spa is beyond my comprehension and is very clumsy. As a shower gel, I didn't find the smell particularly appealing either. Something fresh would be better. There is a lot of forest in the corner and the room is decorated with a lot of wood. Something with the scent of forest, pine...* The hose in the steam room should be replaced (broken). In addition, the ring attached to the hose constantly slips down. This can be easily glued with a little silicone or glue.* A shower near a natural swimming pond would be great.* Some nibbles would be great at the spa. With four stars and this format, this is standard in other hotels.* What I found very unfortunate is that no scents were added to the water during the infusion.* The slightly too small glasses at the breakfast buffet.* In the evening and morning it takes a little too long to get the drinks.* A small number of the waitresses don't really enjoy their job, unfortunately it shows. But I am generally aware of the lack of good workers in the catering industry.* It's great that you can spend the day on the day of departure. Massages were great. The kitchen team cooked great, especially the desserts. Cleanliness great. Swimming pond outstanding. Snack garden is super great. The privacy screen on the terrace is great.* It's great that there are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options.You feel very welcome as a vegan. It's on par with the "normal" foods. We have been visiting the Hotel Sturm for a short break for many years now... there has been a very interesting development over the years with an excellent concept, especially in the kitchen area... the staff is extremely friendly and empathetic and is open to any question... Compliments to the management for this excellent team... we would be happy to come back...
