Friendly communication from the start, and the contactless room handover also worked perfectly.We (2 adults and 2 dogs) were happy to have spontaneously found a room during the peak holiday season where our four-legged friends were welcome. Our room was small - others say cozy, but quite sufficient and clean.Nevertheless, the wet area is really in need of renovation - shower curtain with a strong smell - rusty drain - joints...The bed is large and the mattress comfortable. The balcony with its view is a dream!The breakfast for €12 is not recommended, there are definitely better options in Oberaudorf or Kiefersfelden.Summary opinion: an inn in a great region, with friendly guests, but its best days are behind it.

Great accommodation, staff extremely friendly and check-in possible easily around the clock using a key box. Reservation was easy via the website. Rooms are clean and cozy.

If you are looking for accommodation without high expectations, this is the right place for you.The room, which is advertised as a cozy family room, is very narrow. The bunk bed is full of stains and creaks. The double bed creaks with every movement and a pot holds the slatted frame up. In the shower, the shower curtain is anything but appetizing.The lady at the breakfast table was super friendly and very, very accommodating. That was it for good service. You only meet the staff for breakfast. Otherwise, everything is kept digital or you have to do it yourself.Overall, the price for the room is definitely too high. The 12 euros for breakfast per person is also overpriced. A few minutes away by car is a great bakery that is definitely cheaper.What's really great is the games room. There are lots of toys and books there. The lounge is also beautifully kept.The view of the mountains is beautiful.

The New Year's Eve blast.The rooms are the size of a broom closet. In the shower there is mold in the joints and the drain is rotten.Smoke detectors and fire extinguishers were on vacation or out of the house.There are no glasses; according to the staff, you have to wash them the next day.The hostess is very rude and rude to her guests at breakfast, very unprofessional.Overall, you don't feel welcome here but rather like a burden. There are a few other things like the incredibly dirty carpet in the entire stairwell, etc.The house certainly has potential but the current operators should do something that has nothing to do with guests. Very unfortunate

Located in an enchanting place very close to a large forest with a beautiful river and an immense meadow covered in snow, it was the ideal place to stop for me and my dog. The rooms are simple but clean and check-in is also It was simple, even if no one was there. I will definitely go back also because the price was very good.

We had booked for 2024. We had to cancel again on the same day for personal reasons. The property is not willing to cancel the booking, despite the terms and conditions stating otherwise. The booking platform Booking is also not ready for this, although the FAQs say that the decision lies with the accommodation. Conclusion: It will probably only be possible to clarify it via a lawyer. Recommendation: a clear NO!!!!!

Fairly easy to get to, possible to park on site. Room a little old, especially the bathroom. The balcony is nice but the chair and cushion are full of dust. The rooms are quite noisy.

A lovingly family-run inn with great attention to detail. We felt welcome from the first minute. The breakfast is impressive and leaves nothing to be desired. An ideal place to stay for families with children.

Pearl in Oberaudorf! Small but fine and tasty menu, the rooms are offered at fair prices and the bike can be left in the ski cellar. I'd love to come back.

Unfortunately I have to give this establishment a 1 star rating for being unable to cancel my reservation and still wanting me to pay nearly €600. For years I've been wanting to visit Oberaudorf since I have lived there between 1993 until 2000 before moving to the United States. Finally an opportunity has presented itself and I made reservations. 2 days after making reservations I started to feel unwell (possibly covid) and I tried to cancel my reservation 3 days prior to my arrival date and they wouldn't allow me to cancel. So in respect, it is always better to find a place that offers free cancelations due to unforseen circumstances.

A real insider tip for slowing down with tradition! A lovely little gem, family run. Here you can take a break from everyday life and mass tourism. You save yourself the fight at the buffet and enjoy a lovingly put together breakfast that is brought to the table on beautiful étagères. The extremely friendly service staff and the boss herself ensure an absolute feel-good atmosphere. The homemade cakes taste so delicious, it's reminiscent of your own grandmothers' baking skills. The small but very fine menu - finally no need to study for pages, although most of them taste very similar - invites you to try and enjoy. This was the best salad with goat cheese that I have ever been served. Excellent taste compositions that are very consciously conjured up using regional foods. Here the guest is simply very welcome and not just his wallet. We were also fascinated by the colorful but very stylishly traditional room furnishings. And even in the small bathroom everything was in the right place. Here they have thought of something with a magnifying mirror that is attached so that you don't need a giraffe's neck and a light that doesn't scare you in the morning but gives you a healthy skin color. The small dressing room is super practical, you can store everything away. You can also make coffee and tea in your room. It's a very relaxing vacation. For us it remains our little retreat to escape from the loud and stressful world and to roam around in the wonderful nature. The Kaiser Mountains are within reach... simply great. Greatly prepared for the Corona situation, everything, absolutely everything, can already be done via an app, from ordering breakfast to requesting room cleaning.There are also other “corona-compatible” solutions for those who are not into mobile communication.For special requests such as bicycle rental... there is the possibility and there is a warm and friendly atmosphere in the house!The balcony offers good and sufficient seating, the room is a little noisy, but it is also frightening not to hear anyone around you.The train station with good connections to Munich, for example, is within walking distance, as is Oberaudorf, and many paths invite you to hike or walk...Long story short...in short: gladly again!

Really everyone was very friendly. Found a great place with 4 children. Very lovingly furnished and equipped with many chic and nice details. Nice little playground in front of the terrace. The breakfast service to the room is really great. Breakfast can be booked easily and easily via the app and is very, very tasty!

As soon as we arrived we were greeted very nicely and things continued like that. No matter where we were, at the entrance to the guesthouse or the breakfast room, we always received a smile and a warm welcome. At breakfast there was always fresh fruit, rolls and bread. Whether cheese, sausage or eggs, everything tasted just good. The rooms were lovingly furnished and you immediately feel like you are at home. We can highly recommend the Berghupferl. Greetings, Greg
