"We had a wonderful holiday at the Hotel zur Post. The rooms were not only beautifully furnished, but also offered a small seating area where we could relax. Our dog immediately felt comfortable and was greeted with a treat. The breakfast was varied and delicious "We especially enjoyed the homemade jam. The location of the hotel is perfect for walks along the Danube."

For us the location was ok - it fulfilled the purpose, but the bed was horror. It’s the first time in my life that i complain about a mattress that it is too hard and the pillows just awful. On the first morning of our stay the maid woke us up at 8:30 in the morning (service) and on top schooled us to put the DND sign in case we did not want the service. If we would have known, she likes disturbing customers so early, for sure we would have put the DND sign… until now we did not have such issues in hotels.The room itself, needs some work as you can see some water damages. Maybe i got used to some higher standards, but in a boutique hotel i do expect complimentary toiletries.Also when your “neighbour” will close the door be sure you will know it!Breakfast was ok, seen better.Staff nice, except for the maid.

I liked this hotel. The atmosphere is strictly German, but the quality is there. Very friendly telephone contact with reception because of late arrival. They organize a treasure hunt for you to find your room. Rooms that are spacious, clean and comfortable. Decoration not too tasteful (but that's not important), new and efficient sanitary facilities with blue shampoo, underfloor heating. The breakfast is particularly good, no choice but above all quality!

Beautiful hotel, clean, staff who are very friendly and hospitable, compliments for that. Delicious extensive breakfast.We spent 1 night in transit. It is a very beautiful small town with a Bergburg that is beautifully illuminated, especially at night. Plenty of dining options on the square and the Danube is a 3-minute walk away.Overall great stay

Super clean hotel with modern rooms. Breakfast is rich and the selection is great. The service in the morning was also just great and very nice. This way you start the day better.Especially after a lavish wedding evening 😄👍🏻

Everything was good in general. The staff was very friendly, but sadly the shower in both of the rooms we rented were broken and we had a really hard time using them. Also the bed mattress was really uncomfortable and the pillow as well. I would recommend this place for short stays. It is clean and enjoyable.

I was only there one night and the single room was great. I was very surprised by the nice, friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was good, lots of choice. Gladly again, but then longer.

The price-performance ratio sounds good, we booked the Agnes Bernauer Suite for 115 euros, a very spacious accommodation. The service is consistently friendly, we found the breakfast good and completely sufficient. A coffee machine would be nice and is now almost standard. Anyone who has a weakness for the color purple will feel very comfortable in this hotel. However, we noticed some points negatively. Small pillows with open zippers in the breakfast room don't leave a good impression and if the homepage advertises a "whirlpool" in the room, but it is defective and the reception then explains that it is just a double bathtub, then that spoils it Overall impression too...

The four-bed room had plenty of space, was modernly furnished and very clean. Gummy bears on every bed as a welcome :)Reasonably priced. Good location, nice view. Free parking spaces in the surrounding area. Direct access to the (smoking) terrace 👍German breakfast with a decent selection. Friendly staff.The only point of criticism: when we arrived, all the radiators in the room were set to zero, it took a long time for the room to warm up tolerably 😐

We really liked the hotel, especially our room was very quiet, even though it was right next to the stairs. I have rarely slept so undisturbed in a hotel.
