The hotel can be reached on foot from the main train station. The room was tidy, breakfast was good.The way to the old town is short.Due to the city center location, the room is not absolutely quiet, but noise-sensitive travelers should take Oropax with them. My room faced the courtyard - recommendation.

I was there for one night and I have to say it was completely sufficient for one night.Breakfast was absolutely sufficient for me, but the bread tasted old.The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all. There was water in the shower in the bathroom and mold was forming. The hallway also smelled strongly of cigarettes to me. And even though the windows were closed, I could hear the music loud and clear. If you don't have high expectations and only stay 1-2 next time, it's completely okay for the price.

I spent 3 nights in the hotel.The location is good but the hotel looks nothing like the pictures online.There is a strip club in the basement of the hotel.The area looks a bit rough too.The rooms look stuck in the 70’s and a bit dirty. There is no air conditioner. Only a fan that makes noise and gives hot air. The bathroom doesn’t give a lot of confidence either.Breakfast was ok, however they don’t replace a lot of food so make sure you go early otherwise some of the stuff will be gone. They say that breakfast until 11, however i noticed 2/3 days at 10:30 they closed the breakfast.The receptionists are helpful and polite.

On the plus side, the location (walking distance to the historical part of the city), the included breakfast and the satisfactory price (especially if the main purpose of the stay is to walk around and explore the city).However, despite the central location, the entrance to the hotel is far from the most favourable area: dirty, rubbish, lots of people, sometimes dubious contingent... stayed for 1 night, overall, satisfactory.

Dirty, smelly and hot. There is no air conditioning, only a dusty fan, and there are no screens on the windows, so bugs come in when you open them.The bathroom was small, smelly, and the exhaust fan didn't work. Drains are clogged and overflowing. The towels are old, thin and stiff.The employees are unfriendly and if you don't have the will to solve a problem even if you tell them, they won't let you meet with the manager and they don't even read the message to talk to the manager via email.It's close to Karl Square, but the surrounding area is under construction and the night atmosphere is not good, so it may be a bit dangerous.The only thing that was good was the breakfast, and the Asian restaurant across the street was okay.

Located on the street with round the clock shouting and noise. No air conditioner, so window has to be open. In my four nights here there was no sleep possible before 3:30 am, on two nights when it didnt rain- until 5 am... This hotel charges 25 euro CASH deposit to use a tea kettle. Bed mattress is old and warped. One of the worst stays. Staff not accommodating except for one nice man who checked me in upon arrival. Unless you don't need sleep when you stay here- don't stay here!

Good hotel near the train station. The rooms were very simple and lacked AC, but there was a fan. The stairwell itself was perhaps also not in the best condition and the area questionable. The breakfast had what you need; sandwiches, yogurt, scrambled eggs, etc... The reason for the 5/5 is the staff's incredible commitment and treatment! Our train was delayed by 3 hours, so we were supposed to arrive after 01:00, and they closed the reception at 00:00. Fortunately, we had contact with the staff along the way and a very nice guy came back to the hotel in the middle of the night just to let us in. We are so grateful and satisfied!

Interesting area. Definitely a hotel better suited to stag do, due to establishments around. It is close to the station and the breakfast was really nice. Not many places with four individual beds. We had a balcony and well above the street level, so the noise did not affect us.

They don’t have AC! We stayed when it was getting hot and all they offer is one fan for the whole room. It was so hot inside and I asked for a second one and they said no and that it would cool off in 2 hours. They don’t clean the rooms everyday and we had to keep asking for clean towels and toilet paper. The area isn’t the best but it’s close to the train station.

My flight had a delay and got told I have until 00.30 to meet someone to hand me the key, I repeatedly asked for them to send me the telephone number of this person, but essentially after that communication I received no further details from them (it is also worth to mention Agoda automatically censored any phone numbers and even my own email).Long story short, avoid if you cannot make it in time for check in, I would recommend the Youth Hostel, which literally saved my night offering a great private room, 24h check in and many other things, zero hassle and literally just 3 minutes away.

Mostly no frills, but a few welcome comforts. Plenty of plugs, breakfast was great, everything clean, elevator OK, minimal room service. Wifi didn't extend to our 4th floor room (although it did hit our 2nd floor room) but the main thing you're getting is the location: 4 minutes walk to the train station can't be beat (use the underground entrance at the end of the street, don't walk all the way into the main HbF entrance). And don't sleep on the kebab shops nearby.
