Nice hotel in a very central location, about 5 minutes to the Residenz, old town, or English Garden. Breakfast is extensive and delicious.The bathroom is quite narrow and could be a little bigger. In my opinion, the biggest drawback is the beds; something better should be offered in this price range.

I really loved staying at Unsold Factory hotel in Munich. The room was fantastic, cleaned beautifully every day, breakfast fantastic, everyone working there was lovely and helpful, charming decor. Would highly recommend to anyone. Location is not that close to the Altstadt, but it is a very safe area and quiet.

The hotel is very centrally located. It takes just under 5 minutes to walk to the English Garden and the Eisbachwelle, and the nearest subway station is 700 meters away. There are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity, some of which are recommended. The hotel is located on a quiet side street. The service was always (!) very friendly and attentive. The breakfast is good and special requests are happy to be fulfilled wherever possible. There is plenty of seating outside for mild summer evenings, but from 10 p.m. onwards you have to move to the inside bar area due to the surrounding residential development. The hotel actually deserves 5 stars, but: Our room 114 is relatively small, the bathroom area and especially the shower are very small. For sustainability reasons, air conditioning was not installed during the renovation. During our stay it was almost unbearably warm in the room. Two fans already installed in the room by the hotel were supposed to help, but they could only distribute the warm air. The smell of fried bacon came through the open window from around 6 a.m. onwards. Our room 114 was directly above the kitchen. A resident of room 112 complained similarly. It was not possible to clarify during our stay whether rooms 116 and 110 as well as the corresponding rooms on the higher floors also have this odor problem. There's a certain irony in the fact that you can't sleep because of the heat in a former ice factory.

We stayed here for four nights in September. It was very clear on the website that the rooms do not have air conditioning but we thought September would be cool enough we wouldn’t need it. And we did not need it. We opened the windows and had a cozy night sleep.The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were so nice I didn’t need my travel pillow.The room was so clean I was amazed there was no dust under the desk when I had to crawl under there to retrieve a rolling bottle.We thought there was no housekeeping every day but that they came every other day. We were wrong they came by every day and made the room pretty again.We were a nice short walk to the historic center but it was so quiet around the hotel we didn’t hear any street noise.The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. If we are ever in Munich again we will stay here.

Just returned home from 3 nights spent at Unsolds Factory Hotel. The downside was very hot rooms, no A/C (they give you a portable A/C unit to put in your room, which doesn't do much). Also we heard heavy footsteps from a room above. Quiet residential location, yet walking distance to the center. Good service, friendly employees, good breakfast.

**I already left a negative review a week ago and it has been deleted from site**Do not stay here during summer because there is no air conditioning in room, only a fan is provided which does not cool the room. Also very noisy during night so we had to turn it off. The fan is not fit for purpose. They should be providing portable air con units in the summer. We had two sleepless nights here. Thankfully on our last night we stayed at the Hilton Munich airport hotel which was perfect. We got a decent nights sleep and the rooms are huge and they have air conditioning.I would not stay at this hotel again. We stayed at the premier inn zentrum in Munich on our first night and that even had air conditioning..The pricing of the rooms don’t make sense. I booked a premier double and the receptionist told me it’s not actually premier. They have superior rooms . She said they have four levels of rooms and ours is at the bottom level and classed as a premiere double. Weird way of making customers book an expensive room expecting better facilities. A premier double doesn’t include a kettle or mugs or tea and coffee. Premier inn provides a kettle and tea and coffee . This hotel is relying on its location . Don’t stay here during summer until air con is available in your room

We stayed at Unsöld's Factory Hotel and were satisfied. The room was large, clean and furnished with a modern taste. The breakfast was good and there is the possibility of parking in the same building, although with some limitations in height (1.9m), but still sufficient for a large sedan. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood, just a 10-minute walk from the center and a stone's throw from the English Garten park. Advised!

Got to stay at the Unsold Factory Hotel for 2 weeks. Such a beautiful hotel and perfect location for a vacation. Every staff and individual we met here was so incredibly friendly and patient with us. The location so so convenient as well with not only walking distance to the Main Street, grocery, and shopping but literally has a small restaurant right next door for those days you don’t want to go too far.We are so thankful to the care given to us by the housekeeping staff and to our early morning breakfast staff as well (Yukaro in particular. Thank you for your kindness and well wishes).
