This place is excellent. (we were at Verdistrasse 21 - reading other reviews there might be other locations that I don't know anything about)In the photos, its a bit odd looking from the outside - it's not exactly a private house but not a hotel.....But it's rather a series of houses in a residential area that have been very nicely converted into 10 guest rooms. Basically an upscale PensionOur room (#36) looks like the least elegant of them all, but it is still very nice. (we booked quite last minute, like the day of arrival)Bright, nicely decorated, with big comfortable beds, soft clean crisp bed linens. Everything seems very clean and orderly.A nice - if compact - shower roomAnd excellent value (at about 74 euros per night for a double.)the location is a bit away from the center of town, but the S Bahn station is 4 minutes away and that'll get you downtown in about 30 minutes. Very easy.there are several bakeries and little shops in the area. two large grocery stores within 10 minute walks. For restaurants there is a Greek restaurant 200m away and a little further (maybe 5 minutes away) an excellent looking Bavarian tavern/restaurantThere are no real kitchen facilities but there is a microwave, a toaster, a kettle and a small fridge. There is also a pay coffee machine (1 euro) that spits all excellent coffee. Can't beat a 1 euro cappuccino. so between the bakeries and grocery stores, you can put together a decent breakfast.It's a pretty DIY place - which is just fine. Staffed between 2pm and 8pmbut communication was very good.We would definitely stay again

From the moment I arrived I received a warm welcome. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, which makes my stays very pleasant.The price-performance ratio is unbeatable in Munich - top location, very clean and everything you need is there!

Nice rooms, great location just a 2 minute walk from a restaurant, a few cafés and the Obermenzing S-Bahn station. Rooms are clean, but the walls are a little thin, which shouldn't be a problem unless you have some loud neighbours. Despite being on a road and next to the S-Bahn, it is very quiet, and you don't hear much noise from outside. Anyone driving here, it has a free underground car park, and there is an Esso and Shell garage a 2 minute drive away.

0/5 STAY AWAY!We had a cockroach infestation! after 1 night we came back and requested a refund for the remaining days so we can move to a different hotel, the hotel manager was very hostile , aggressive and not at all apologetic.He did not care at all and once he had our money, its basically our problem now.He didn't offer anything, I confronted him with video footage of the cockroaches, and he responded that its acceptable to him. he refused to even send a cleaning team.We ended up just leaving the hotel 2 nights earlier without any refund and staying at a different hotel at our own expense. Our friends booked a room at the same building with us on the upper floor and also had cockroach infestations.This entire experience left us with a sour taste on an otherwise great vacation.At least the staff seems and approachable.

Room ok, a bit careless, bathroom full of hair on the floor. Located on a busy street, our room faced the garden and was therefore very quiet. OK for 1 night.

All in all ok for the priceBut what is not possible is that people smoked in the room and the cold smoke is unbearable.It's sad that people probably don't care if smoking is banned. In the future I would rather pay more and go to a hotel with direct service on site. I was at Rathochstrasse 71, Ziinmer 44

Stayed here whilst visiting on holiday! really great place!! We're a couple and asked for a double bed. They only had a room with two single beds or a large room with two doubles, the lovely receptionist gave us the large room at no extra cost!! We got a gift bag with some treats and informationLocation was great! 2 minute walk to train station and only a couple stops to the centre of Munich. The town also has a few shops, bars and restaurants. The Greek restaurant nearby is loverly!The lady at reception was amazing! She couldn't do enough for us, helped us with travel information, recommended places to go and was just overall super lovely and helpfulRoom was clean, came with really comfortable beds, soap, shower gel, towels, large smart TV, WiFi and plenty of toilet paperThe decor is beautiful and cosy and couldn't fault the place 100% recommend

Very clean, functional room. Thank you that we were able to move into the room a little earlier than expected. However, the rooms are a bit noisy, but there is a very good price-performance ratio. Apparently a very Catholic house when you see the many figures and pictures of Mary in the house...

We were in the newly built/renovated building next door.They were completely modern rooms, with sufficient furniture. The bathroom was well equipped and wonderfully clean, as was the room.There was a fairly large balcony and enough parking space for vehicles. The connection is also great with an S-Bahn station and a bus station nearby. There are also plenty of shopping opportunities just a few hundred meters away. The employees are friendly and accommodating.I was completely satisfied and would love to come back!

AVOID AT ALL COST:We were staying at a room, one kilometre away from the checkin place.Before you check in, they can't tell you the address at which you will be staying.They don't have the photos of your room. Our room was not like the photos on the website.At the room there is NO SOAP or shampoo, and they refuse to provide it. We had to ask at the reception, which is 1 KILOMETRE AWAY from the room.My wife had an allergic reaction to the pillow and they refused to give us the synthetic ones.There is NO KITCHEN in the building, there is NO KETTLE at the room, so you can't even prepare some tea or heat water to take some medicine.The internet is fast but disconnects at least once an hour. The signal is also bad.The response time is very slow - 1-2 days to answer a question/book a stay.They decided that a flat screen TV is more important than some soap and a kettle. Im actually surprised they gave us 1 roll of toilet paper, thanks.I have travelled the world a lot and it is the first time I encounter such bad service. At 140 EUR a day could you at least buy some soap for 2 eur so we can wash hands and take a shower after a long travel to your place?I will try my best to tell other people to avoid this place, if you book a room. For the mini apartment I guess it is not as bad.

Houses in a residential area converted into hotel rooms. 8 to 10 rooms in a house. Nice reception, neat room, small but okay, mattress was soft, bathroom/toilet very small with a crappy 20th century shower curtain, quite a long walk to the S-Bahn. Many restaurants and beer gardens nearby.

We were with in a beautiful apartment. The receptionist was nice and helpful. After returning to the Czech Republic, we discovered that we had forgotten our glasses in the apartment. The reception had them mailed to us. Great :)
