Quite okay for a two night stay. Unfortunately the beds are too hard, but that's a matter of taste. Unfortunately the desk was forgotten while cleaning. Otherwise clean room. The staff were all really friendly and accommodating.One of the few hotels that doesn't have a kettle, tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was good. Fresh fruit, cheese, sausage, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, etc. Standard, but good. The TOGO cups for coffee or tea are very nice, so you could take one with you.

You shouldn't expect too much, a small, clean hotel room with a bathroom, you can sleep on the beds and watch some TV in the evening, but that's about it

Cheap family-run hotel in Harburg. The staff is friendly, the rooms are a bit older but very well maintained.We had a very good time and were in good hands.

Not bad in terms of location, but that's about it. I had probably gotten into a former smoking room; despite the ventilation, the air was extremely bad. Unidentifiable stains on the cover when you open the duvet - that's not possible. The walls were also very dirty.

We were looking for an affordable double room in HH Harburg because we were attending an event.A few minutes' drive away we found this hotel that also had a room available.The room furnishings are getting old, but everything was sparkling clean and you can sleep in peace.Parking space in front and behind the house. Very nice welcome at reception, which is open 24/7.If we come back to HH, we'll be happy to check in again.

We stayed there for one night while passing through - it was okay for that.The hotel is on a main street.It was quite loud in the room, but in warm temperatures you can't keep the window closed. But we were then able to move to another room, which faced the forest and was much quieter. Breakfast was ok, everything we needed/liked was there. But the house is already very old. Proximity to the highway is great.

If your standards for a hotel room and breakfast are low, then the hotel for you.The room was dirty with faeces under the toilet seat, black fungus in the joints of the bathroom shower cubicle and silverfish/beards on the floor.Cobwebs and dust were to be found in the nooks and crannies of the room.The breakfast was below standard. Therewas bread with some side dishes and eggs.However, the hotel is close to the motorway.It is not a romantic hotel - probably more practical.Next time I will try another hotel.

It's great if you're on the go and need a place to stay relatively close to Hamburg. Having a spot outside of town makes arriving at any time of day phenomenally easygoing. The addition here is that there's 24 hour service, which also allows for 24 hour check ins. Very convenient.

The 2-person room is small, but just right for an overnight stay. There is a shower, the toilet is tidy. The hotel is in a good location, we quickly leave the highway. The hotel has a cafe, breakfast costs €9/person, and there is a gas station next to it, if you continue walking down the same street, there is a restaurant on the other side, if you don't want to spend €9 😀Registration is open 24 hours a day.

My stay at the Hotel “Grüne Tonne” in Hamburg was unfortunately very disappointing. As soon as we arrived we noticed the numerous deficiencies in the room. The furniture was very worn and partly broken. What was particularly annoying was a broken cupboard whose door couldn't close properly.Another big problem was the hygienic conditions. We discovered animals on the ground several times, which really worried us. In addition, the room cleaning left a lot to be desired - our room was hardly cleaned during the entire stay.The breakfast was also far below the standard we expected. The selection was very limited and the quality of the food on offer left a lot to be desired. There were hardly any fresh options and everything seemed rather carelessly prepared.The rooms themselves were extremely stuffy and poorly ventilated. Despite repeated ventilation, the air quality remained poor, which made the stay very unpleasant.Overall, I unfortunately cannot recommend the Hotel “Grüne Tonne”. The numerous deficiencies and the poor service significantly affected our stay in Hamburg.
