We booked there for one night with breakfast. Room clean and OK. Breakfast adequate. All in all, OK for the cheap price. Renovation work is currently taking place, but it hasn't caused any disruption. What was unpleasant was that our bikes were stored in the garden shed. This was only secured with a very light lock. During the night one of our e-bikes was stolen and the hut was broken into. Of course, the hotel can't do anything about it, but a better lock and perhaps camera surveillance might have been better. Staff has been very helpful.The hotel is located directly on the Weser cycle path and also allows very late check-in.

Nice, simple bike hotel located on the Weser cycle path. The bikes were stored in a garden shed and could also be charged there. Nice service staff. Rooms were okay. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately there weren't enough seats. The lobby area is currently being renovated A lot of attention is paid to sustainability. Upstairs in the hallway where the rooms are distributed, there is a lounge with books, games and a drinks fridge. I would stay here again

We got what we paid for. Simple hotel beautifully located. Our room was functionally furnished. The breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast. Service very friendly and helpful. Attention: The hotel is currently being modernized, which means there will be noise from workmen until around 5 p.m.

The location is great. The staff very friendly.The rooms are plain and simple, but everything is there.I found breakfast good for the price.The outside area is not that appealing at the moment due to the construction work.Bicycles could be safely stored

We were on the Weser cycle path. The hotel is ideally located, right on the path, but not far from the city center.The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - at first I wasn't sure whether I would be able to arrive by 5 p.m. (that's how long the office is open) so I called. After a friendly phone call, I was immediately sent the code for the key safe via SMS.The room was simple but really clean. There is a TV and manageable, powerful WiFi.With the double bed you could only get in from one side - stupid for those who have to sleep against the wall. The mattresses were clean, but somehow saggy or at least not of particularly high quality, so they left that impression.Bicycles could be safely stored in a shed - there are a number of sockets there, but all of them are without power, so we had to remove the batteries and charge them in the room.The breakfast was simple but ok, with scrambled eggs on request, but the rolls were ready-made rolls (from a discounter?). There was clearly room for improvement.The outdoor area wasn't nice at all - at the moment it's just a construction site and everything seems very untidy - you could point this out on the homepage while the work is ongoing and possibly respond to it in terms of price.Overall, a good choice for traveling along the Weser cycle path, especially because the people are really so friendly. I think 99 euros for a double room with breakfast is ok, but I would really like fresh bread rolls and a slightly more well-maintained facility.

The room was under the roof, the double bed could only be climbed from one side. So that one always had to climb over the other at night.On top of that, the mattresses were completely worn out.Staff was very nice and breakfast was simple but good.

I was thrilled with my stay at Fairschalfen. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, which made my stay very pleasant. The breakfast was varied and fresh, so there was something for every taste. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was impressive and contributed significantly to a pleasant atmosphere. This hotel is definitely an insider tip in Minden and I can highly recommend it.

We stopped here on our bike tour. The bikes could be safely locked in the garage.The room was very simple and not particularly large, it's enough for 1 or 2 people, but I wouldn't plan a longer stay here.There was still a small construction site in front of the hotel at the time of our stay - so there was a bit of noise because our room faced the construction site.The location of the hotel is super practical as you can reach the city center in just a few minutes on foot. The service staff is also very friendly and accommodating.The breakfast was standard, but still sufficient.

It's a very simple hotel, very simply and simply furnished. In my room 17, the bathroom smelled musty when the door was closed. I pointed this out when paying, they probably already knew it and said it had to do with the fact that the bathroom didn't have a window... BUT clean!The breakfast doesn't offer much, everything is packaged goods, orange juice from the discounterUnfortunately only baked rolls from Aldi or Lidl.At €77 a night you can expect more.The location is ideal, just a few minutes walk to the center, directly on the Weser.Great for bike tours

I was part of a travel group from a baseball team from Hamburg, we were there at the weekend and it was great, everything was clean, well equipped, nothing to complain about 👍 Check-in went without any complications, gladly again 👍 There is no service, hence only 3 stars , but that is due to the Google query. We didn't expect or book any service.

We were in the holiday apartment, which unfortunately had a wasp problem that was known but kept quiet. This resulted in a wasp sting while he was sleeping, which was only on the adult's arm.Unfortunately, smoke-free is not the case as the beds/upholstered furniture stink quite a lot.After the renovation (construction site) is finished, the hotel will definitely be nice. The apartment's kitchen was getting old and the dishwasher was broken. The bathroom has been renovated and the water pressure is right despite the attic.Check-in was easy using a key box, check-out should take place between 9 and 10 a.m.
