We had a high-priced voucher for the restaurant. After we found out that the restaurant was closing on October 1st, we tried to reserve a table in advance in order to redeem the voucher. We were always told off on the phone that the right employee wasn't there to make a reservation. Then we should reserve by email. The email was ignored. When we called again a week before closing, it was no longer possible to get a place because everything was supposedly completely booked. Funny, on our previous visits we were always almost alone. But they said we would get the money for the voucher instead. Well, after it was finally closed and we had submitted the voucher, the money was suddenly only available with the receipt. Absolutely brazen stalling tactic. Those responsible should be ashamed.

Modern rooms, perfectly clean, large and comfortable.Unfortunately, the desk in the room is not suitable for work.When we visited, the restaurant was closed, and what's worse, there were some problems with bacteria in the water, which the reception mentioned only after arrival.Perfect location, parking with large and comfortable spaces.

Modern hotel, comfortable rooms and a great location, short distances to the old town, the staff is friendly and very helpful, unfortunately there were 2 groups there on the weekend of our visit, which clearly exceeded the capacity, the bar closed on Saturday evening despite the full house and thirsty guests at 10 p.m. that the breakfast buffet was comparable to the image of a locust visiting, which is a shame because there are simply not enough staff and none seem to be able to keep up

The facilities and condition of the hotel are absolutely great. The location is also really nice and you can reach everything on foot. Unfortunately there are deductions for the service. Only the lady at reception in the evening was friendly and helpful. The service staff at breakfast and at the reception in the morning did not radiate much joy. A nice day was answered with goodbye. On the second day there were still dirty dishes on half of the tables and you had to look for plates and cutlery. The breakfast itself is delicious and high quality. On the second day, however, the replenishment was very slow and at times there was hardly anything available. Nevertheless, I would recommend the hotel and with some adjustments to the staff a 5 star rating could be justified.

We spent a night at the IBB HOTEL Altmühltal-Eichstätt on the way from Croatia to Hamburg and were positively impressed. The decor is very modern, the staff is super friendly and the breakfast has a very large selection. The room is also very quiet and we were able to get a good night's sleep before continuing our journey. We'd love to come back!!

Really very good hotel right on the Altmühl.Train station and old town in the immediate vicinity.Rooms very modern and large, great beds. Everything was very attractively designed and very clean. Beautiful bathroom and separate toilet.Individual floors of the stairwell are additionally secured with doors that can only be opened with a room card, meaning no unauthorized access to the floors is possible - great!Breakfast very good, great selection.Locked underground parking space for bicycles with charging options for e-bikes (sockets)Reception very friendly and helpful.House highly recommended!!!There is also a restaurant in the hotel, but it was closed during our stay (company holidays). Therefore we cannot give a rating on this.

We visited the hotel on our hike on the Altmühltal Panorama Trail. The conclusion in advance: It was by far the best hotel with the most attractive price/performance ratio. The hotel is as good as new, everything appears to be of high quality and architecturally correct. We had a room with a view of the Altmühl. Very comfortable beds, the separate toilet is very pleasant. Breakfast was very good and sufficient. Unfortunately we were unable to visit the bar and restaurant and therefore were unable to rate them. Service at the reception was very good and quick. Eichstätt is also an attractive stopover destination. Right next to the hotel there is a small beer garden directly on the Altmühl, which invites you to sit comfortably. Clear recommendation!

Very modern hotel, just not my taste. But otherwise there's nothing to complain about, we were only there for a weekend without breakfast. The location is of course great, right next to the train station and the Altmühl.
