I spent two nights in the harbor master's office. The location is of course great - right next to the small harbor and very central. You just step out the front door once and you're right in the middle of the action. Bars, restaurants, cafes and shops - all in the immediate vicinity. I had a double room with a view of the small harbor. Since I did work there for a day, the sea view was of course very nice while I was working. However, due to its central location, it is of course also relatively loud. But in the evening from 10 p.m. it actually worked. The double rooms are very nicely equipped and it was very clean. The bed linen was amazing, I've never had anything so great in a hotel. Very pleasant, I think I will buy these again! :-) The only drawback is that there is no fly screen in front of the balcony door (French balcony). Especially in summer it is warm in the room...but if you leave the balcony door open, lots of spiders come in. Because there are lamps on the exterior facade in front of/above the windows, and that's where there's a lot of crawling after dark. That's just nature, but a fly screen would be really great - because some of the eight-legged colleagues were so large and numerous that it was impossible to fall asleep comfortably.I really enjoyed the breakfast! No matter whether you sit on the hotel's own terrace or at the small harbor: the view was really a highlight. The breakfast buffet was very nicely presented and there was a very tasty selection. The service was super nice and very attentive. I can only recommend the harbor master's office!

We enjoyed a little break for 2 nights at the sister hotel Haus Ottenlock. In the morning we went to the harbor master's office for breakfast, where we were always greeted with a smile by the extremely friendly ladies at reception and service, which really warmed my heart. ❤️ Girls you are so great! The breakfast buffet really left nothing to be desired, scrambled eggs and fried eggs were freshly prepared upon request, as were coffee specialties or cocoa. Thank you for the great stay, we will definitely be back soon!

We were there for a break. A very cozy place with a view of the sea. The range of food and drinks was very tasty and inviting. The hotel was very clean, the service was very friendly and attentive and the price was not too expensive. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the hotel. Greetings Michael. 👍🫡

The breakfast buffet is really highly recommended. The selection of food and drinks is very extensive and at the same time very good quality. The price is also completely justified for this offer. In addition, the friendly service rounds off the overall impression perfectly. We recommend! We would love to come back!!

Highly Recommended!Were invited as guests to a wedding on the island. Despite our long journey from Austria, we will definitely come here again for vacation.I have never experienced such loving service, excellent hospitality and a family atmosphere anywhere else.The Maritime Room invites you to sleep and linger ⚓️ (don't forget to book a tapas plate! A must have)Incredibly accommodating, despite special requests - many thanks to the entire team - both in the hotel and on the island.(We're not that used to grumpy Vienna ☺️)Keep it up!
