I wanted to have a drink after a leisurely hike but after a long wait you weren't even greeted or asked if you wanted anything. This goes well with Apfelbeck again. I won't go there anymore. Service is very unwelcome.

For lunch for two.1. menu OK in time 2. Menu +/- 10 minutes later. Coordination on the part of the kitchen crew could be improved.Taste + price OK.

I was invited to a wedding at Landgasthof Apfelbeck. The food was great, as was the ambience. The only point of criticism at this wedding was the service, with around 130 people there was only one waitress who took the orders, which meant that you sometimes had to wait a good hour until you got your ordered drink. However, I don't know the background (did someone drop out, who got sick, etc.) That's why I still give it 4 stars overall. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the room because I didn't use one. But I think the Landgasthof Hotel Apfelbeck is great in normal operation, which is why I would like to take another look at a normal visit.

We had dinner on September 1st, if you can call it that. We ordered two Viennese style schnitzels for €14.90 each without salad. We got two burnt shoe soles with totally over-salted fries that jumped out of the plate because they were so crispy. The cook was probably a trained cobbler and confused meat with shoe soles. But the waitress was nice and apologized for the food we were served. Just avoid this place. Unfortunately there is nothing more you can do. Avoid Apfelbeck!!!

We stayed there for a long weekend!!!! Price performance is good!!! Rooms are a bit older, but clean... the food is poor average, but the service is very, very nice and on the ball!!! We really liked the beer garden! Breakfast is more mass than great… but it is sufficient!!!

Room is very noisy, I don't have to hear everything when my neighbor is on the phone. The lady at reception wasn't exactly the friendliest...Food...schnitzel with hunter's sauce and 1 wheat for 22€...but it was very tasty, great breakfast from 6

Asparagus and strawberry buffetWe were at a table for four (No. 69) right in the middle of one of the smaller dining rooms. We initially have 15 minutes. Waited, but until then none of the waitresses were interested in our table.So we tackled the appetizer buffet. The selection was fine. The asparagus cream soup was just an indefinable, salty cream soup.While we ate our starters, we spent another 15 minutes. Waited to see if any of the waitresses were interested in our well-being. After 45 minutes (with a short break to get food) we actively spoke to one of the waitresses. But she wasn't responsible for taking orders and assured us that someone would come soon. Nothing again. Then we spoke to another waitress again, who finally took our drink order. After 1h 15min. we then had our drinks.Shortly afterwards the rich main course buffet was set up. The selection was okay here too.I only tried the dessert buffet randomly because I was just full. In terms of taste, the strawberry-rhubarb strudel and the curd dumplings with strawberries were my highlights.The location is large, cozy and barrier-free.The toilets are modern and clean (although my companion said that those frosted glass doors in the toilets are kind of uncomfortable).The outside area is very nice. There are enough free parking spaces.Conclusion:What food was presented was mostly good, but nowhere near very good.Personally, the popular and much more aromatic green asparagus has been neglected too much. It was only used in 2 out of 7 starters. Accordingly, the guests pounced on it. No green asparagus was presented for the main courses. Too bad.Vegetarians or even vegans are completely forgotten here, as long as they also avoid a pescatarian diet.Our table was completely under the service radar.We had to actively ask about everything.Nobody even wanted to come to us to pay, even though we asked several times.Surprisingly, the young man who finally took our money was extremely friendly.€39.90 per person For an average buffet with this service it's just about okay.Maybe we'll come back again to eat á la carte. Maybe that means more to us.
