I chose this hotel for us because of the mostly very good reviews. Of course, this created expectations that unfortunately were not fulfilled.But first the positive:1. Very good location in a quiet and green part of Berlin. 2. Best connection to the center of Berlin via the Mexicoplatz S-Bahn station (300 meters away). 3. You can always find a parking space in front of the door. 4. Friendly staff. 5. Very good breakfast.Now let's move on to what we didn't like:1. When we entered the room, we were hit by an unpleasant smell that didn't go away even after airing it out. 2. The rooms are very cramped. 3. Closing the shower cubicle with a curtain is not an optimal solution. 4. Our room was very noisy, you could hear every step on the upper floor and the slamming of the doors in the hallway. 5. People don't take dusting so seriously when cleaning rooms. Dusty cupboards etc. remained in the same situation as they were during our stay. 6. The minibar was not refilled. The empty bottles were put in front of the door, but they remained there and were not replaced with full ones. 7. Finally, a word about bed linen: if it is already stained, it is time to replace it.Four of us traveled and had 2 double rooms for 2 nights. The impression we got was exactly confirmed by the couple who traveled with us. We paid 135 euros per night and room including breakfast (plus the accommodation tax of 5.75 euros), which unfortunately wasn't worth it to us.

An old villa in a typically green Berlin residential area, close to an S-Bahn line, close to Schlachtensee. It is important to note that the booking is made by email or telephone, so that the bookings, Trivagos or Googles of the world do not collect 15/20%.

Wonderful, small and quiet hotel. Stayed there for 10 nights. The hotel is not centrally located, but we knew that beforehand. The room, up under the roof, was clean, as was the bathroom. We didn't take part in breakfast. The staff at reception were helpful and happy to provide information when needed.We'd love to come back.

Well-kept hotel in an "old" villa. Very nice, green and quiet location in a well-kept area. Friendly staff. Breakfast in the winter garden with a view of the countryside. Less than a 5 minute walk to the S-Bahn into the city. Parking available. All in all, I felt very comfortable and will definitely book there again on my next stay in Berlin.

We arrived very late after a delayed flight but were easily able to get into the hotel by putting a code into a box outside which dispensed the key. The room was very nice, large double bed and ensuite bathroom. There was a mini bar as well as snacks and a bottle of free sparkling water. The bed was quite firm but comfortable, we could have done with a couple of extra pillows but I'm sure the staff would have given us some had we asked. Lovely breakfast, boiled eggs, cold meats, cereals, juice, rye bread, croissants etc. Friendly and helpful staff.The best thing about the place is it's located in a gorgeous suburb of Berlin. I've never been to an urban area that's so green, the air smelt extremely fresh. It's only 30 minutes from the city centre on the S Bahn, you can hear the trains a bit but they stopped at about 1 am.We hope to come back.

When my wife and I spend a few days in our old home of Berlin, we always choose the Landhaus Schlachtensee as our accommodation.The location near Mexico Square / Schlachtensee is simply unbeatable for our requirements, the rooms are clean and well-kept, the service is courteous and friendly and the breakfast is well above average.Full marks & absolute recommendation!

This small hotel is run by a friendly team in one of the nice neighborhoods of Berlin. The staff is very obsessive about the cleanliness and tidiness of everything.The bathroom, toilet, and beds are cleaned and arranged daily, and free drinking water is placed in the room daily, and wireless internet is easily available throughout the hotel. The hotel breakfast is higher than you expect from a three-star hotel and access to Public transportation is excellent and accessible on foot.

The reason was a business trip. Number of nights: Two. The door of the room was stuck. The room had an unpleasant smell upon entering. In the bathroom, the fan and a light directly above the shower were broken. There was a bad smell in the bathroom because of the broken fan. The breakfast contained something for everyone. The fruit plate on the first day was very poor and the freshness left a lot to be desired. However, on the 2nd day there was a 100% increase. This time he was ok. Overall, I won't stay there again, especially because of the unpleasant smell in the room.

I was there in the hotel with my dad, we really liked it, the room was plenty of space and the bathroom was nice and big, the staff was very accommodating. 1 bottle of water was on the house, minibar in the room.Good connection with S-Bahn and bus. Breakfast was plentiful, everything your heart desired and fresh. We will be back.
