It is way more run down than the photos suggest and not very comfortable. A lot of men hanging out in the lobby and outside the building, which I found uncomfortable, something just made me really uneasy. No privacy in the rooms and no real direction as to wear the bathrooms were. (There was only 1 toilet per floor, as I found out later)I was on the 3rd floor with no lift which kinda sucked.Service was ok I guess, although when I asked to get a locker, the receptionist assumed I didn't have money to pay for one which was weird and trying to check out wasn't as easy as it probably could have been. The only thing I liked was its proximity to the train station.(I travelled for work, so I hastily booked here, I'll be rigorously reading reviews for places from now on)

We were a family of 6 people (two adults and 4 children, one of them is a baby), and ordered a room with one big bed and two two floor beds + a personal bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) for 269 euros for 2 nights. We knew where we were going, so we didn't have much expectations, because it is a hostel.1. First of all, the hostel now doesn't look like it eas before. The paintings are gone.2. The receptionist is a very nice man, he speaks English, so this is very comfortable.3. The ground floor gives you an opportunity to buy a beverage, it has a micro oven, plates, cups, and you can buy some drinks and limited food. But you can buy everything in the nearest market and warm it up at the ground floor.4. The room is clean. Completely ok. Has everything what it needs.5. Towels. Bed sheets included.6. I was worried about the sounds, that it would be noisy, but it was super.7. The location is perfect. Not the center of Berlin, but so near. The station is here under the hostel. We will come again. ❤️

I think it's cool here, but when I wanted to take a shower the water couldn't get warm, the water was cold the whole time, and the internet is pretty bad here, there's no TV, and it's also very loud in the evening.

The hostel is a disaster. We were a group of six girls and therefore had a room for six. The beds were very disgusting and under one bed there was a used towel which was super disgusting. Are the beds not cleaned properly?!. The Mattresses weren't very clean either, luckily we all had our own duvet covers. There wasn't an elevator either, we had to carry our large suitcases up to the fourth floor ourselves and one of our suitcases broke. This hostel is definitely not recommended.

I would like to give 0 stars, the staff can't speak German, there was a riot every night or something, the rooms don't have showers, my window wouldn't open and someone shit on my window sill. The rooms were a disaster and every now and then something flew out of the room room above me.

Beds and pillows must be made by yourself and removed at the end. I've never experienced anything like that before. The multi-level beds are made entirely of metal, so it squeaks extremely loudly as soon as someone moves even a few centimeters above or below. Rooms are also noisy and the doors are terribly loud because they can only be closed firmly.I was first assigned to a room, which was full, then I was assigned another one.Lockers must be locked with their own lock. There are no sockets on the beds. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest either.Even though it's right next to Charlottenburg train station, I'll book a different hostel next time.

Some guests in the room are very loud and the beds make noises. The ventilation is probably not that good either. Nevertheless, I really like the location because there are a lot of restaurants nearby and Lidl and Rewe are also close by. I also like the concept of a shared bathroom, as you can simply use a bathroom separate from your room and not share the same bathroom in the hostel room.Overall, this is a good place just to sleep at night (assuming you have earplugs). Please don't expect more for the price.oh by the way, there is no elevator (and there are four floors)

Friendly and helpful staff, very good location, but the rooms are not in good condition. Unfortunately, the WiFi is rather weak and the breakfast is acceptable.

The pictures that can be seen on the internet look nothing like the hostel. From the outside you can't see any of the colorful graffiti anymore - it looks super run down, we didn't even recognize it when we arrived. The beds make super loud noises. It's dirty and hygiene doesn't really exist there. There were disgusting sticky brown stains on our chair and my friend sat down with her new pants because the stains couldn't be seen before. You couldn't ventilate, which meant that the room was very stuffy and didn't smell good. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. There were stains in the carpet and on the pillows too. There were lockers in our room but not even a key. The communal shower had disgusting stains. The door of the hostel was open until the middle of the night and people came in and then slept in the lounge. The WiFi didn't work at all. The breakfast was okay and had a good selection. The location was also quite ok, the S-Bahn was right next door. If you want a clean room I wouldn't recommend you go there.
