The hotel is nice and very well located, the rooms are a bit small, but everything is very clean. The but is because of the bunk bed mattresses that are extremely uncomfortable and the pillows worse, otherwise, I recommend it.

Hotel was great, only the security makes you feel uncomfortable and causes totally unnecessary trouble that is not necessary!

Clean hotel with great amenities. Bathroom with large shower, although the bathroom itself is not very large, we shared a room with three people, but it is more adequate for two given the size of the comfortable bed, working TV, missing a useful fridge and a wardrobe, excellent for 2/3 night stays.

We had a quadruple room (2 adults & 2 children). The room is very small, but is completely sufficient for an overnight stay as part of a city trip. However, the suitcases should not be too big. ☺️. Breakfast is simple and designed for large quantities. If you stay for 3 nights you can get by with that. The only criticism is that our room was very dusty. The location of the hotel is great. From there you can easily reach everything. The connection to the TRAM / subway / bus… is great. Everything can be reached within a maximum of 250 meters. A nearby parking garage allows you to park your own car for €11 per day. The parking garage has its own entrance to the hotel. We got the BVG Welcome Ticket Berlin for 48 hours. We all paid €52 for this.Price / performance is right at the hotel. After all, we only paid €388 for four people for three nights with breakfast. In our opinion, the hotel is less suitable for longer stays.

Excellent quality/price! Basic rooms but equipped with the necessary, industrial and modern style, excellent breakfast, equipped with a very well-stocked play corner. 2 flaws: the air conditioning filters in the room need to be cleaned! And lack of daily cleaning of the rooms.

Fan is not working, and it's so noisy with tram and ambulance when we had the window open all night. So hard to get deep sleep, 5 of us was so tired because we didn't get a good nite sleep. If we didn't have fan problem, it would've been pretty nice place to stay.

Good and cheap for Berlin conditions. The four-bed rooms (1x double bed + 1x double bunk) are absolutely OK, but very narrow. We only used it to sleep, then it was easy to bear. The Hotel am kleine Tiergarten is clean and conveniently connected to Berlin for visits. If you arrive with your own car, you can use the underground car park in the Schultheiss district (€ 11.00 for 24 hours) and from there take the elevator directly to the hotel.

The location is absolutely great! I also think it's great that the street noise doesn't bother you at all thanks to the good windows. The staff is also friendly. But there are really a lot of things that we didn't like at all:Unfortunately we also have problems with cleanliness. Unfortunately, the room is not only shabby but also partly poorly cleaned. This becomes very clear when it comes to the drain in the shower. It smells and the drain clearly hasn't been cleaned properly for quite some time. Were at breakfastAlready at 7:30 a.m. various tables were glued and the floor was not clean. Now about breakfast: I really don't think it's as great as partly described. There is extremely little choice when it comes to cold cuts. You can also see that the sausage products are of inferior quality. This is really much better for the price and if not, then you have to charge 2-3 euros more and then really offer a little more. But what bothers me most is that MEININGER advertises that it is child-friendly, but there is actually nothing for 5 year olds. No buffet at children's height (wouldn't even cost you anything) just slot games that you have to pay for and are for older people. The rocking chair in the photo no longer exists and the toys for the smaller ones are incomplete, carelessly thrown into a box and some of them are broken. What exactly is great about it for children? How about building blocks, a cheap Ikea kitchen, painting supplies and other relatively inexpensive things for smaller children?
