An outdated hotel with nice, large rooms and bathrooms. The hotel team was very polite and attentive. The breakfast was very good and affordable in terms of price. The restaurant that belongs to the hotel gets 12 out of 10 points. From the staff to the food, everything was perfect. We'll definitely be back.

Outdated hotel. Unfortunately, the furnishings not only have a nostalgic 90s charm, but also the corresponding signs of wear. Parking spaces are available in the underground car park. The staff was friendly.

We booked the hotel for two days as a group of 35 people. The participants were without exception satisfied with both the hotel and the restaurant. You can still feel commitment, hospitality, fulfillment of small extra requests, good organization and, above all, friendliness from the staff both in the hotel and in the restaurant.I would like to highlight the restaurant in relation to the dinner, which we had in buffet form on two evenings at different prices. The first evening was o.k. and on the second evening the food was extraordinarily good. It was a surprise menu, the dishes had not been agreed upon, but our trust was not disappointed.Price-performance was right.We would like to thank everyone involved in the hotel and restaurant who contributed to a successful celebration.G. The room was very old and there was no care at all, the quality of the breakfast was poor and it was painful to wait to get on the elevator. There is free parking in front of the door. I ate chicken and potatoes for dinner at the restaurant of Schnisel Hotel, which was very ordinary and greasy.

Dude... The beds... Rock hard. I thought about sleeping on the floor.Room and bathroom is super clean. Thanks for that. The staff, from the cleaning ladies to the waitresses. Everything great. Gladly again. But maybe with a different mattress. 🫣😬

Not recommended – disappointing stayI actually didn't want to write a review about the Hotel Ascot Bristol, but today's incident makes me want to share my experience.Location and price: The location of the hotel is convenient for me and the prices are sometimes cheap. Unfortunately, there is little positive to report beyond that.Rooms and facilities: The rooms are clearly showing their age. The TV is tiny and certainly over 10 years old. The screen can hardly be seen from bed as the distance to the television is a good 2.5 meters. The bathroom is in poor condition and although it is generally clean, there is an unpleasant smell of cold food in the hallways. There is occasionally a smell of drains in the room. There is no air conditioning and no fans were provided when it was 35 degrees. Due to the tram running directly in front of the hotel, it is not possible to leave the windows open at night.WiFi problems: This week the WiFi was down throughout the hotel. I specifically booked the room with free WiFi because I rely on it as an IT freelancer. When I asked about the costs for my additional data passes, I was turned down very unfriendly at reception. They hid behind the statement that the hotel was not liable for the free WiFi. A poor service for me as the WiFi was one of the main reasons for my booking. The additional data passes cost me €60. A small concession would have been enough, but instead the arguments were based on false facts.Conclusion: After three weeks of staying in this hotel in August 2024, I had actually resigned myself to the fact that everything was “OK”. But due to the bad experience with the WiFi and the unfriendly handling of my complaint, I would now like to give my objective opinion. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the Hotel Ascot Bristol.

The hotel is located near the motorway. The center of Potsdam can be easily reached by public transport.The rooms are very nice, clean and large. The staff is very friendly and helpful.The restaurant is also highly recommended. Price performance all in all top.

Very nice hotel with large rooms and very large bathrooms. The restaurant downstairs is also highly recommended. Employees have fun at work. Breakfast was also good. Would book this hotel again every time in Potsdam.

Spacious and clean rooms close to many shopping options. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was really okay for €12 per person. Unfortunately, the underground car park is a bit small and you have a few difficulties maneuvering a larger car there. All in all, a good hotel to stay for 1-2 days.
