Nice, familiar little hotel. We had a very nice room with a balcony and a spectacular lake view. The breakfast buffet was very rich for a hotel of this category.A bus runs in front of the house to the Zoo train station in just 37 minutes. We felt very comfortable. The restaurant is no longer part of the hotel, but has been taken over by an Italian who is also highly recommended.

The restaurant is now called Bella Vista - Italian cuisine! My first visit with the new atmosphere was relatively positive on a Wednesday evening. There were three of us. Non-alcoholic drinks, juice/spritzers are served openly in glasses.Gr. Mineral water costs over 7 euros. We chose different dishes and desserts. The main courses were good, the desserts were very good.Service friendly. But on my visit yesterday at lunchtime - the food “surprised” me!The portion with the fillet tips + mushrooms looked good, seemed a bit rich due to the pasta. What surprised me was the pinkish-red color of the pasta and sauce, very "tomato" with 3 small cherry tomatoes. The fillet tips and chopped mushrooms were spread over the "pasta hill", which looks very decorative, but the proportionality is not right. The Tomato sauce dominated the taste of the small fillet tips and especially the small mushrooms, which I was certainly expecting in larger numbers. It's the first time I've had such a standard dish served this way in an Italian restaurant. When I choose beef fillet tips with fresh mushrooms as a dish, so farA beef or mushroom sauce is always dominant, but not tomatoes. However, artistic freedom is allowed when cooking! The waiter's service wasn't that good this time either, as he was alone and no longer young! It's a shame, but maybe that's the new spirit of the times, because I never experienced that with the former "cabin restaurateur" - rather the opposite! As the saying goes:"Time will tell"!The restaurant's good location on the Havel is of course a "free?" Bonus! For the Kladower/GatowerIt's certainly ok for people who don't want to/can't go to the city center!Maybe I should try coffee and cake one afternoon.

We went there the day after because of the very good restaurant rating. Unfortunately the restaurant was occupied by a reservation. We then went into the garden. It was a bit too much for all the waiters. The amuse gueule was not complete, absolutely not good and unfortunately there was a very long wait for food. It wasn't a highlight this time, but we'll come back at another time.

It is now an Italian restaurant and is called Bella Vista. Very elegantly furnished and it has a beautiful garden directly on the Havel. The staff is very friendly and the food is also delicious.

If you ignore the mediocre food at excessive prices, this is a nice restaurant in an even nicer spot with a great water view.

We were guests yesterday and unfortunately we weren't convinced. Instead of the promised 20 minutes, we waited almost an hour for the food (max. 1/4 of the tables were occupied). Although the prices are relatively high, the quality was unfortunately not there. The prawns (mini) were definitely not worth the price and the noodles were very soft, you had to leave the dish. Unfortunately, no one was asked about the still full plate. It's a shame because the welcome was friendly, the atmosphere was good, the service was friendly and also apologized at the end.
