Really great spot, the beds are very cozy and the space is very well designed, you have everything you need. You can choose from a shared space or your own room, it’s very inclusive and welcoming. The staff and the owner are wonderful people, it’s always a pleasure to be there!

I made a last minute booking at this hostel, and it was a good choice to stay one night there.Location-wise, it’s a little outside of the central part of the city but not that big of an issue because the U8 and buses are nearby. There are both dorm and private rooms to choose from but for myself I was in a dorm room. The rooms themselves are decorated nicely. I actually quite like the concept of the upper and lower floor (instead of the typical bunk beds). Made it felt a little more private and cozy. But if you’re on the taller side, the upper floor doesn’t give a lot of room to be comfortable in.There’s a shared kitchen with plates, cups, and cutlery provided.Bathrooms are well taken care of and nicely decorated with some toiletries provided as well.I also want to give a big shout out to Anne (I believe the person who helped me check-in). She is friendly, polite, and professional. Also, I think this is one of the first accommodations where you can check-in quite early which is a definite plus.Definitely would recommend if you’re planning to visit Berlin.

Very nice small-scale hostel. Nice atmosphere, great double room, but the dorm also looked very good with more privacy than a regular dorm. On the ground floor, so I could easily take my bicycle inside. On the last day I was also able to leave everything behind and use the kitchen. The only thing missing is a possibility to cook (only a microwave). Lots of nice restaurants nearby.

It's not a bunk bed, so each person has a lot of space. And always clean. Really beautiful. Moreover, there is a safety box in each person's space, and a key is also provided ✨The shower room and restroom are also really cute. The dryer airflow was strong and it was great ✨The staff were also kind, and when I asked if I could leave my luggage and go for a walk, they happily responded. The surrounding area is full of graffiti, so it doesn't seem to be safe, but there are many restaurants and it feels lively.I was very happy with such a wonderful accommodation at this price ✨ If I come to Berlin again, I would like to stay there!

Very romantic atmosphere! Even though I only belong to the Fire Nation, in this bed Katara tamed my water from you know where!😉😳

Very bad service! Waterbenders tamed my water and so I had no running water, I had to shower in the canal. The earthbenders will hear from you half-breeds. 😁

I absolutely loved this hostel! It felt like more of a shared co-living apartment. My little dorm room area felt like a home from home. If the other guests are quiet then it's also a super peaceful space. I liked that we were hidden from one another with a solid wall and unless someone walked past the end of your little room, noone could see you. The kitchen area was nice and clean (there's a microwave and fridge, cutting board and knife so I was able to make light meals. Would be perfect if there was a hob but Berlin isn't too expensive to eat out in, so I made the most of that 😍The bathroom has loads of useful Toiletries in a basket to help yourself too. And there were Sanitary pads etc in the bathroom. The area is super nice along the canal. On Tuesday, Friday and Sunday there was a market all along the canal just outside the apartment. There are loads of great coffee and dinner places. It's close to two U-Bahn stations and I felt very safe as a female solo traveler.Anne was a great host, super kind and communicative. I was able to leave my luggage there after I checked out and still use the bathroom & kitchen area before I headed for a night bus.I will definitely stay here whenever I come back to Berlin, an absolute gem of a find and one of the cheapest things I could find. Couldn't recommend more 🌟

I felt that the host of this hotel was subconsciously looking down on East Asians.I was trying to sleep until the check-out time of 11am, but around 9:30am I heard a group of people making so much noise that I asked them to be quiet and told the group (students on a school trip from Switzerland, mostly white). I told you. Then, some of the students looked at me and laughed and said, ``What the heck are you laughing at?'' I felt that they were looking down on me.So, when I went to talk to the student's teacher directly, the host of this hotel looked at me like I was a criminal and criticized me using strong words. I've been doing it. Then he forcefully stopped me from going to the teacher.I thought that this behavior was not a good way to treat customers, so I tried to call the police, but I couldn't because I didn't know the phone number for the German police. In the end, I was able to talk to the student's teacher,``Because I'm Japanese, those students were acting like they were mocking me like that, right? I want them to stop being racist towards Asians. White people think they're the best race in the world.'' However, all races should be equal.''Then he looked very serious."I'm sorry if I made you feel that way. We have students of Asian descent, and we educate our students not to be racist."After a few conversations, he finally greeted me in Japanese.I also received an apology from a male student via a translation app, saying, ``I did not act in any way that was racist.'' I am sorry.I was very surprised by the behavior of this teacher and student.Because white people are supposed to be proud of themselves as the best race in the world, I thought it was very surprising for them to apologize so seriously to me, a Japanese person. .However, even though I received apologies from the teacher and the student, the host, who was the main character, did not say anything and quickly left the hotel. This kind of behavior made me feel that this host was potentially racist. They warmly welcome white people and are cold towards other races, such as Asians.I had a feeling that he must be that kind of person. As for the hotel, it was good except that it was difficult to open the room key, the water pressure and temperature of the shower was difficult to stabilize, and it started to get noisy from other travelers around 9:30.If Germany is aiming for a society where people of all races can coexist, I hope they will be more tolerant of East Asian tourists like us.Germany is said to be a serious country like Japan from a global perspective, but I felt that there were quite a few people who were exclusive to the country. In a sense, it was an interesting experience to see the true nature of German people.I felt that the host of this hotel was subconsciously looking down on East Asians.I was planning to sleep until 11:00 when I checked out, but at around 9:30 I heard a group of people and told them (mostly white students on a school trip from Switzerland) that they were too loud and wanted me to be quiet. She then forcefully stopped me from going to see the teacher .I thought that this behavior was not appropriate for a guest, so I tried to call the police, but I couldn't because I didn't know the phone number for the German police. In the end, I was able to talk to the student's teacher, and I told them, "Those students behaved in a mocking manner because I'm Japanese, right?
