We left straight away without staying overnight.The interior impressions are diametrically opposed to the charm that the historic building promises. Too bad.

Communication with the staff is a bit difficult. You cannot (!!) pay by card. From the inside it looks as if nothing has been renovated in the hotel since the fall of communism. The WiFi is very weak. Positive points are definitely the location and that it was reasonably clean. However, there is no reasonable price/performance ratio.

Not my hotel never seen any hotel like that in my life, I book the single room when I get there i was 2 single bed there and they said that’s your room after 1 hour they come and told me you got some else come to your room and not happy to share the room with random people

Unbeatable for the price. Arranging with the hotel owner was a bit difficult because he didn't speak German well. He was still very helpful and friendly, even greeting us with a free coffee. Ideal for short overnight stays. WiFi and television can be expanded.

A bit old-fashioned and worn out. Toilet not properly anchored, tilts. No socket near the kettle and in the bathroom for the hairdryer. Nice personel. Shower with mold stains and shower head screwed together incorrectly, water comes out in front of the shower head, thread could not be loosened. Otherwise everything is fine.The location is good, right on the market square.The bar under the hotel is unbearable, loud music, the bass makes the windows vibrate into the night.

I was passing through Hala, spent the night in this hotel, liked the room, clean, quiet, couldn’t hear any street noise, good breakfast, polite staff👍🏻

When I read the reviews, I sometimes wonder whether I was in another house. Rooms were ok and clean, even if the shower's functionality was rather limited... it took a while to get the water pressure there.But great location, therefore acceptable for me and suitable for the price

The room was spacious. There were no cups in the room, but there was a kettle.The room wasn't really clean. It was dusty and there were moldy joints in the bathroom, which matched the almost non-existent water pressure and the fittings had water and lime stains. The furniture seemed thrown together and had already seen its best days. Attachments such as towel rails, grab bars in the shower and shower head holder, coat hooks... were so wobbly and loose that they shouldn't be used for safety reasons. The room smelled like it hadn't been aired for a long time. On the one hand, like the other defects, this was due to the negligence of the owner and staff, but also, for the same reason, to the careless installation of the curtain rods, which made it impossible to actually open the windows. The towels rivaled any callus rasp and actually left scratches on the skin. Although there were bedside lamps next to the bed. However, I would have found it very practical if these had actually worked and not just been a decoration (at least on one side) despite being connected to the power grid. Until around 10:30 p.m. the windows vibrated with the bass of the music from restaurants, bars and parked cars with young people downstairs. Until around two o'clock there was music from the Neue Deutsche Welle and the accompanying group discussions of the people meeting outside. And at four the delivery service came. Luckily we got up at six o'clock and weren't woken up at seven by the city cleaning and garbage collectors. But to do that you would first have had to be able to sleep, which was not possible either because of the noise or because of the sagging mattresses with noticeable springs.

My stay at Hotel Ratshof was great! The hotel is clean, cozy and well located. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made my stay particularly pleasant. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. I can recommend the Hotel “am Ratshof” to anyone visiting Halle!

If you like old equipment, you might like it if you don't have any problems with climbing stairs, as the reception is on the 2nd floor and the rooms are on the 1st floor and there is no elevator. Due to the brisk demand as to whether we wanted to pay straight away and it would otherwise be difficult to find a room, we asked to be shown the room first. As already described, old equipment. Clean, yes, but overpriced at 90 euros without breakfast, even though it is close to the center. Things are going much better, even if we registered at short notice.

The house is worth a visit alone. The boss takes a lot of time to explain everything and is super nice and accommodating. The breakfast is top notch for such a small house. If I need accommodation in Halle, this is exactly the right address. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

Centrally located hotel only approx. 3 minutes. walk to the market square. Breakfast is ok, breakfast room very small. The hotel is very old - also the furnishings, beds are good and it is clean. Staff nice and friendly.

The house is simple but tidy. No restaurant, no parking, you have to go to the public parking garage and that gets expensive.
