Sellent Pension

In this accommodation, the staff and the attitude of the owner were completely disappointing.Before the accommodation, I sent an additional question via Booking messages - no response.I finally arrived at the place later than I expected. Pension sellent is located approx. 500 m from the hotel, where there is an official reception serving this separate accommodation. (Hotel Unenglinger Tor) - unfortunately it is also closed in the evening.There is a self-check-in kiosk in front of it - unfortunately it didn't recognize my name or reservation number.Also, as I learned later, there is an emergency phone, where the paper says at the very bottom that you can call (probably) the owner, who will give instructions. In the evening, tired, I didn't finish it anymore, it seemed to me like a phone call only after the hotel to the rooms.Unfortunately, I didn't receive any instructions before my arrival (the lady at the reception just said "I called you", no apology!). By saying that she did not plead, she ended the matter and did not send any instructions.When we said it to each other, I asked her why she didn't use the messages on the booking, or didn't try to call again, or didn't send an SMS. She didn't do any of that.So I was without a key and was forced to improvise.Unfortunately, the phone number listed on the guest house is a landline for the reception desk, which is closed and you will receive a voicemail.The absence of a mobile phone number for the owner complicated the situation for me, and I was navigated to the third one only through the second neighbor! of the "Altstadt hotel", which is said to belong to the same owners.There they already called Mr. Sellent and gave me the code to the safe that was in the Unenglinger Tor Hotel.So really happy driving around Stendal between three hotels, in the evening, tired and demanding to find the key.When paying, I wanted an invoice showing only the total price paid (it also included breakfast).It has a different tax in Germany, so again a problem - the lady at the reception won't make me a separate invoice with only the total amount paid without the mentioned breakfast.When I ask to contact the owner, I get no contact, saying that the owner will be in the morning.He wasn't, in the morning a reluctant young lady delivers new news that she's on vacation...I contacted the owner, he was still reluctant, but at least he wrote "sorry", but he thinks the problem is with me.You should take care of guests differently. I understand that the lady at the reception is not interested, she prefers to sit with her colleague on the terrace and smoke, but as the owner you should solve these things, you will lose guests unnecessarily. The pension is really nice, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is hearty. Unfortunately, the impression is made by the staff. And here you failed. I have traveled a lot but this is the first time this has happened to me.

I stayed in this beautiful, very well-kept guesthouse for 2 nights.Breakfast was also rich and the staff was very friendly!Thanks for everything & gladly again

Nice staff, delicious breakfast and a great room

Very quiet location and clean guesthouse.Staff very nice and breakfast good.The only problem was that breakfast was a while away in another hotel, unfortunately not ideal.But otherwise pretty good :)

An outdated guesthouse, but clean. We noticed the unexpected ledges at the entrance to the house and at the end of the stairs on the first floor. There was a risk of stumbling, especially for older guests.

The guesthouse is the annex building of the Hotel Uenglinger Tor. The facility is a bit older, but OK. The room with bathroom on the ground floor was very large, the beds were excellent. The windows have external blinds, so they have a very good darkening option. There is only a small amount of local traffic on the very quiet side street. The bike could be stored in the building. The really very good breakfast buffet was offered in the main building.

Near Uenglinger Tor (5min walk), nice room with balcony. Parking space in front of the door. Spacious room has everything you need (TV, WiFi, safe). Wide comfortable bed. Fully satisfied

Very quiet, clean

Nice, tidy room with a terrace facing the courtyard. Bathroom with shower with window. Stayed there for two nights. Registration and breakfast at the hotel, about 500m away and easily accessible on foot.
