We spent relaxing days in this modern hotel and felt very comfortable from the first moment. The rooms are very large, well-equipped and quiet if you book the mountain side (comfort room). The atmosphere throughout the entire house is characterized by friendliness - you feel welcome as a guest. The location of the house is ideal: the train station is directly opposite and you can quickly reach the Thale Erlebniswelt on foot. The various worthwhile hiking trails that the Bodetal offers start there. The hotel has its own parking spaces and a restaurant. Absolute recommendation - we will be happy to come back.

The welcome at the hotel upon arrival was rather cool, the rooms were a nice size and as far as breakfast is concerned, I can confirm some of the previous reviews, the offering was very limited and refills were slow. The management of the hotel seems very inflexible in some things. We definitely wouldn't book here again, it could be much better.

We stayed for three nights with a small group and everyone felt completely comfortable. The whole house is very clean, the service is very attentive, thoughtful, friendly, there is a great breakfast buffet and a puzzle village that is fun. We can only warmly recommend the hotel. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.

As a family, we booked 3 double rooms directly through the hotel for 3 nights with breakfast. We had our dog with us. We took advantage of dinner at the hotel. The hotel appears bright, modern and is quite centrally located as a starting point for hikes and excursions. The rooms are functional, well-kept and designed according to the motto. As a welcome, a small water bottle was prepared for every two people. The bathroom is very clean, except for the ventilation in the ceiling. The noise level from the adjacent railway crossing didn't bother us. On the other hand, the air conditioning, which became noticeable at night. (in all 3 rooms) Instructions for operating the system were only available in one of our rooms. The breakfast was average. On 2 out of 3 days we encountered a very "plundered" cheese and sausage platter, very uncluttered rolls, and empty bacon containers. At the request of various guests, more was added. There are coffee specialties. We liked that. The buffet itself could use some variety. (fresh fruit salad, maybe make-your-own waffles or crepes, fish...)The service staff in the morning were so diligent that they often cleared things away very quickly, even though they were still eating.Dinner was ok so far. We ate almost all of the schnitzel. We had to give our daughter's chicken back for further frying because some of it was still raw. We pointed this out in a very friendly and approachable manner. Unfortunately there was no apology or friendly accommodation for this. It was received almost in silence. It was a shame that the bar wasn't open one evening. It was only when we asked on the day of departure that we were informed that the staff was ill. There was an alternative bar in the lobby. It was ok, but had no atmosphere. Too bad there were no non-alcoholic cocktails. When asked politely, the answer was: "We don't have it."We did experience friendliness, but a little more warmth would definitely suit this special hotel... especially because it is a star hotel.

Pleasant hotel, friendly people. The location is favorable for hikers, not far from the entrance to the Bodetal.

Very unfriendly and inflexible, breakfast was very little and wasn't refilled, not a voucher from the voucher booklet could be redeemed, even the free drink was denied. The bar was also closed. We will not recommend the hotel

Great location, nice but noisy room, staff mostly friendly, breakfast more continental instead of 4 star standard. The Mythenresort is thematically implemented quite nicely.I had a room on the 2nd floor - unfortunately the WiFi signal isn't sufficient here - I just expect that from a hotel that opened in 2021 and has 4 stars. At first glance the room was clean and tidy, but the ventilation in the bathroom hasn't seen a cleaning cloth in ages. The comfortable bed and the pleasant indirect lighting on the headboard were very positive. The bathroom can only be heated using a towel warmer - unfortunately this cannot warm the bathroom comfortably. The selection at the breakfast buffet was okay, unfortunately, as is often the case, instant scrambled eggs and the convenience fruit salad made from frozen goods were not very appealing. When checking out, I was asked if I had missed anything during my stay - I mentioned the lack of WiFi - the answer was a tight-lipped "Wi-Fi is only available in public areas".I wonder why the access data is stored in the room and not in the lobby. In summary, I was satisfied because of the unbeatable location and the comfort.I would have expected a little more from breakfast.

The hotel is very centrally located and you can park cheaply. The rooms look newly renovated and are modern. The beds are very comfortable. Shower gel and hairdryer are available in the room.
