Slept well is probably due to the incredibly strong smell that permeates the entire hotel. One of us got a nosebleed, coffee is from the GDR era. The only good thing was the time travel through the old facility, but unfortunately it hasn't been cleaned for a long time.

It has nothing to do with cleanliness. We're at a loss for words. After half an hour we drove again. Had to pay for one night.

HWN stamp office is hidden at the bottom right. You can stamp the 👻 digitally in the HWN app in front of the entrance.

Was there for 1 week for an excursion, the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Outside there was also seating, a volleyball court and the opportunity to grill when the weather was nice.I found the building and the breakfast room as a whole to be a bit old-fashioned. The bungalos, on the other hand, were partly very comfortable and more modern. The only thing that bothered me personally was that there were only wheat pastries besides the muesli. However, it was nice that there was also a veggie buffet. Overall, I would go there again :)

Truly a forest oasis! Very nice GDR style, good accommodation and nice hosts. Is quite remote and in the middle of nature. Good hiking opportunities and delicious food.Highly recommended!

We were not satisfied in any way. First we were assigned the wrong bungalow because the other one we had booked was rented out. Then the bungalow was damp, there were spider webs in the corners, the toilet leaked and there was also a hornet's nest. The ceiling light was completely obscured. A barbecue fireplace could not be used because it was broken and the grate was totally dirty and broken. A table tennis table was not set up upon request. There was no WiFi.

We had a bungalow for 4 people over the weekend, it had everything you needed, we were happy with it/food was good 👍/hotel itself was very nostalgic,/staff friendly. Hotel in the middle of the forest. We had a birthday party 🥳 with several friends, for We wouldn't be averse to two visits.

We were here at Easter 2023.The best thing is the value for money. You can't make too many demands on the prices. The positive thing, in addition to the location in the middle of the forest, is the friendliness of the hosts. The breakfast was fresh and sufficient, the dinners were simple home cooking at moderate prices and just as tasty.Unfortunately, there are also some negative points. The dining room is pretty rocky and exudes 70s/80s nostalgia, but not in a positive way.The hallway in the main house smells indefinable and quite unpleasant, and there were also some cobwebs clearly visible. It was better not to go on our balcony, as some of the boards had apparently broken away for a long time. The doors to the hallway didn't lock on the floor, so it got quite bright in the room when the light in the hallway came on and every step could be heard. The rooms themselves could use a renovation or renewal of the furnishings.I wouldn't rate the outdoor area and playground in cloudy April. As I said, price-performance is absolutely fine. You shouldn't expect too much from the accommodation. It's more than enough for a casual short vacation without any major demands in nature.
